Anyone know of any good Tranfiguration!Harry fics? People always reference his father's talent for it, but I have rarely seen it used extensively. The only story I can think of where it plays a prominent role in Harry's fighting style is The Lie I Lived.

 

I think Esama had one where Harry started a magical university or some such, but it was a Star Trek crossover...I think. Technomagus?

Does anyone remember a story where a girl in a Russian testing facility ends up having sunflowers for arms? I think it's HP fanfiction, but I'm not actually sure on that.

 

That's actually vaguely familiar in a weird way, so good odds it's HP fanfic.

That was an... interesting story, I guess. It's based off Rorschach's story, yet is somehow a bigger crack fic than it. I'm not sure how anyone could manage that. Anyways, I'm hoping to find something that isn't strictly humor, and perhaps Harry actually has to struggle to not get killed instead of just lolstomping everything into compliance.

 

Uh, whut? Also, I would like to second the Indiana Jones/ acquisitions Harry-- that sounds so freakin awesome. I read a few chapters of 'the horror! The horror!' but it's reeeally cracky. The implied perversion of every other character is more tiresome than amusing, and what I consider the most interesting parts are just letters from Harry's point of view. I get that the joke is the blasé way that Harry mentions these things, but I'd rather the story be just a series of vignettes in that case, rather than making me slog through narrative about Minerva's kinky fetishes.

 

Looking for good fics that show Tom Riddles ascent to becoming the most feared man in magical Britain. Especially if it concentrates on how a nobody, with no family name went about convincing pure blood families to join his agenda and how this proud people allowed themselves to become his subordinates and even come to fear him.

From memory it goes from meh but you might be able to salvage this with a rewrite, to unreadable and unredeamable pretty quick.

 

Sorry misremembered it. It was wraithspeaker but I did remember Harry was able to see and talk to ghosts so I tought its name was something to do with that and I was right to a point.

 

I just picked up a self-insert that's alright so far. I'm on chapter two, anyway. In Bad Faith. A guy from Australia is 'reborn' as Draco Malfoy's younger sister.

Edit: Ugh, nevermind. The moment I started paying attention to the story the author forgot how to punctuate... and how to look up dates from canon. This is sliding to barely recommendable.
