Haven't read much Doctor/HP xover. I couldn't stand the puddle of shit most of them were in the first few pages of FFnet. Thanks for the rec I'll give it a go.

 

Right, I'm looking for this one fic that I came across some months ago, but I forgot its name. From what little I can recall about it, it starts with Ginny centric-chapters as she's involved in a relationship with some world-wide known potions guy, ends up preggo, but he tells her to terminate, from which she abstains in the last moment.

I think it eventually became a Harry/Ginny fic, and normally I'm averse as hell to this kind of thing, but I'm bored at the moment, rain's pouring out like crazy, and I can play CK2 only so much, so does anyone from DLP know what I'm talking about?

I think it even has a sequel.

 

Sorry, I don't know the story you're searching for, but I googled CK2 and if this is indeed Crusader Kings II you are talking about, thank you very much. It looks like a very interesting game with a mod for ASoIaF. I shall check it out!

That ASoIaF mod is what I spend most of my time playing, although a friend has recently told me about an Elder Scrolls mod for it as well, called Elder Kings. Granted, it's less advanced than the AGoT mod.

As far as CK2 itself is concerned, keep in mind this is more... personal than HoI, focusing on the dynasty of the character, intrigues, rather than the big picture.

 

Yep, read that on the Wikipage of CK2, but I am not that versed in the Elder Scroll lore. Just played some Morrowind and a lot of Skyrim.

I figured as much, read some articles about the game. I really was looking for a game that had more diplomatic possibilities as for example the Total War games. They were always a bit lacking in that aspect in my opinion.

 

I just tried reading The Lords of War and Thunder, but it was disappointingly focused on the boring romance.

It still got me hooked on the premise of Harry being the older brother of BWL. Are there any decent stories with that premise without romance overpowering the main plot? Preferably ones that deviate from canon.

 

If you mean decent as in where he is treated equally within the family and it isn't an angst fest?

Well no, I haven't encountered a decent older brother of the BWL story yet, not one that comes to mind anyway. But I too would be interested if anyone got some recs.

 

You have read Harry Potter and the Boy Who Lived, right? It's twinfic, technically, but Harry was born eight minutes before, so it fits with specifications. Deviates pretty hard from canon, great story, abandoned.

Can't think you won't have read it already though, particularly on this site.

 

Was thinking I should of added that, but twin fics are out. Don't know about KGB, but I was thinking older as in a year or two gap, where Harry actually is an older brother not just technically older on paper.

I've only just gotten hooked on the Marvel Comic Movie universe, and I decided to search for fanfiction crossovers between HP and the Avengers. The only one I found worth reading looked to be Wand and Shield, are there any others out there?

 

Are there any good Harry the Enchanter fics? I just had a thought today about this type of fic and now I'm curious if any good ones are out there.

What I mean by Harry the Enchanter: Harry begins to learn, is learning, or has learned the art of Enchanting objects with a strong specific focused use.

Anything out there like that?

I remember that there was this one fic about the table of elements and harry having a gift to create specific element, gold i think, and he could enchant different metals with various properties. It was largely based in the room of requirements and had luna and hermione helping for most of it.

Downside, i can't remember the name :/ If anyone else can...

I'm searching for an old fic I've read about the mirror of Erised. Basicly Harry gets seduced by the female version of him in the mirror until one day she doesn't show up anymore. He goes batshit crazy, looking for a way to enter that dimension and making her his.

If I remember correctly it had about 7 chapters but it was definitely completed. I've searched everywhere and can't find it. Hopefully someone recognizes it and can tell me the name.
