I'm looking for a story where Post-Voldemort!Harry is sent to an AU where Neville is the BWL and Harry Potter died as an infant. One of the first people he meets is his younger sister who helps him fabricate a story for where he came from. Takes a wood nymph as a concubine while working for Hogwarts, later adds a half-vampire and Fleur while working for that Dark Arts defense organization that Lockhart belonged to.

It had some funny moments, if I remember correctly; Lily confronting her son on his concubines and Harry blowing out both of Lucius' kneecaps at one point. Last I read it ended just after Arthur was attacked by the snake in fifth year.

 

That sounds like one of the many, many incarnations of Harry Potter and the Girl Who Lived - and one of the worse ones, at that. Start the search there and you'll safely navigate through all the other worthwhile stories without undue exposure.

 

Nah, it wasn't a SilverAegis redo, although I can see how you could come to that conclusion. Harry is still as old as he was in his original dimension, 18-20, and his sister is in her fourth or fifth year of Hogwarts. Don't remember there being any other children, nor did Sirius or Remus have any kids their age. There is no romance, or even a hint at one, between Harry and his sister.

While you're correct, it wasn't a great story, it was something I remember getting some laughs at that I've been trying to find for a while. I'm not sure if it even exists on the web anymore; "site:fanfiction.net" and "site:ficwad.com" haven't helped me find it on Google. So, it's either gone or hidden on a Yahoo! Group or something.

 

I recall this. Wasn't good enough for me to keep track of, and I'm not really going to waste my time looking for it.

Yeah, there are similarities, but it's not a remake. It takes place during Neville's (BWL) fifth year, Umbridge causes some funny drama with Harry because of his non-human lovers.

It started out like every other AU-Transfer Fic, but pretty soon it took the humor route instead. It's been a long time since I've read it, but I remember it being pretty funny. Pretty much abandoned now, though, like all of Tak's stuff.

 

I am surprised I missed this. A most amusing tale.

Edit: I take that back. Couldn't make it past chapter 4.

This story can go die in a fire.

It's average. But it's broken up by stupidity.

And descriptions of Harry's eyes.

It gets a lot better when the author decided "Oh, the hell with it" and turned it to humor.

And gets really, really awful after that, never mind.

Hermione from his universe suddenly pops up. Then invents a portal 2 paragraphs after she arrives, which brings Goku, Cloud, and every other random character you can think of in.

 

I managed to stand it up until the wood nymph bit.

Then I was like, WTF, and dropped it.

There are so many stupid things in this fic, that it gets a 1/5 and a terrible from me.
