Prince of the Dark Kingdom's updates have been "around the corner" for like 3 years now.

 

Hogwarts Battle School by Kwan Li. Very unique story, 372k words already, but would have loved to see where it went next.

 

As was discussed in the Library thread, the story is finished. What's there isn't the most phenomenal ending of all time, but it's decent enough imo. There was a lot I liked, there were parts I didn't. The author made noises about a full rewrite, which is never going to happen. A finished story would be an improvement over one that's been incomplete for years. I think she should just post what she's got and call it done, but who knows what she'll decide, if she ever decides anything. I don't buy the excuse that there's no time to copypaste some chapters into the FFN editor and hit "publish chapter".

It could be just as simple as she doesn't care about this nearly as much as the readers who would love to have an ending to the story do.

 

I mean, it being finished or not, the shit still isn't uploaded, and that library update thread is two years old ]. I get an author not being completely satisfied with their climax, but let's go.

Shit or get off the pot. Fish or cut bait.

 

Y'all are reminding me I need to reach out to the author of POTDK as summer is over.

I've just been so busy tho. Been putting it off.
