First time I've tried posting a pic of my desktop, but here goes. I often just have pics at the beach or the zoo, but I generally end up going back to this pic after a while. Many will likely think it's lame, but I don't give a damn; I think it's fucking cool.

 

You think you have enough shit on there? Clean off the icons, get rocketdock instead of that Dell Dock shit. Gadgets are fine, sure, even though you'd do better with Rainmeter/Rainlender, and get a better version of that pic so you don't have to center it. Also, vanilla Vista = fail.

 

I like having icons on my desktop... <_<

 

I'm not much of a computer geek and don't have to have the latest and greatest nowadays, but I'll at least look into rocketdock and rainmeter. As for the pic, if anyone knows where to get a better version I'm more than happy to download it, but my own searches haven't turned up any wallpapers that fit better than that one, and I don't have the inclination for editing and making my own wallpapers when this one works okay.

 

At the very least, get rid of redundant icons. You don't need the recycling bin and Firefox shortcuts on there twice.

The only crowded part is firefox. I never quite get that cleaned up, both have around 15 tabs running from my surfing, my sisters surfing, schools, work, hotmail, tvshack, and so on.

I don't have many icons on my laptop which is where the printscreen is from but the entire background is blocked on my pc by all the icons.
