I watched. I was bored as shit. Black man dies fucking close to start, and he was the only one who wasn't acting like he had a stick up his ass. The rest of the movie is boring as all hell, sitting in a room bitching, occasionally hiding from aliens who don't look threatening at all despite blowing up shit. Nuke goes off like riiiiiight there and they don't die, glass doesnt shatter in the window, their electronics still work? Nope, doesnt work like that.

They don't explain anything, and the end of the movie is just stupid.

 

Seconding Midnight,

The film was epically bad. The plot was painful and practically non-existent, the acting hammy and the characters were cliché and boring. It wasn't even entertaining in a bad way, it was just shit.

There are spoilers below but to be honest, the film is so crap you just wont care.

Also, physics and technology made me rage. Blue light sucks people in and then makes a hurricane that only affects people to shoot them out? No. Spaceship rebuilds itself fragment by fragment from a nuke whilst all the inhabitants of the spaceship frolic merrily through the city. Just No. Glowing alien brains that are colour coded for your convenience. Fuck no.

Seriously, don't waste your money.

 

But let's not forget he somehow got superpowers from looking at the blue light... that several of the other characters that didnt die also looked at. But only he got effected. Aliens that have antigravity, and yet don't have thermal imaging or xray imaging. Hide from the hovering harvester by... squatting behind the counter. Yep.

Oh, and a nuke effecting shields that have somehow help up to all the insane level of radiation in space. It'd be a small fragment of what they'd get hit with going next to stars/blackholes/etc.

... You think they'd stop doing that, seeing as how when me and my friends first saw the trailer, damn near everyone of us called him dying early.

 

I thought with such a good actor that they'd keep his ass around. But nope, squish.
