Harry is training to become a dragon animagus, which is described in a rather unique way - having his form's spirit as an invisible friend, guardian and teacher all rolled into one. Good thing is general anti-angst nature of the story and light humor.

Downsides - Few deus-ex machinas, crucio-friendly Voldemort and Harry getting bossed around by the dragon too much.

The author is downhearted ATM since she received no reviews after 10K, so drop her a few, it's a solid story.

 

It was kind of funny. But the crying over the owls was a little too much. Plus how did Voldie and the DEs get into the house? Still I'll wait till more chapters come out.

Edit: Yeah this is pretty good, like the dragon thing. But really How the hell did Voldy get inside? I mean the doors still locked?

 

I read the first chapter. And I reviewed.

I think the author needs to reconsider the summary, though ... even just fixing that h to a H in "harry".

Anyway, it's ... interesting.

 

I thought it was decent enough. Certainly good enough to get some reviews. I felt bad for her, only 1 review? All these fucking Cliched Harry/Ginny and Slash fics get thousands of reviews, she deserves way more than those.

 

I found the story pretty good as well, though there are little errors and whatnot here and there. I typed a quick review, and... yah.

 

It wasnt half bad, a few grammatical errors, but those could be fixed with a simple proof-read.

Although he still seems to be a pit of a pussy, which can get annoying. And Im not a fan of pranking, but whatever.

It has promise though.

I just saw(sp?) this and decided to see some of your opinions before reading it. The story seems alright though i was unable to really get into it, though compared to all the other slashy trash that seems to have infested ff.net, its definitely good. If and when i'm able to finish reading it, i intend to review.

Would i recommend it? I would on the grounds that most of what IP adds to the library is worth a look, if not very good.

Here here. I just read it and i do admit it has some solid quality that was well worth reviews, tis a sure shame that 90% of the majority can't see outside of Harry taking it up the ass by Snape or cowering before "the famous Weasley temper" pffft fuckin cocksuckers.

 

Not a bad fic. Could be better.

I didn't like how Harry was letting the dragon boss him around. And what kind of person cries over dead owls? A loser, that's who.

 

To pussy one time and them hes all confronting the nexst second... had the potential to be good but I didnt really liked it...

 

Liked the ideas (i.e. animagus transformation), but most of it was ill thought out and lacking details. Tagger (yes you heard right), the annoying animagus representation is way over the top.

Final Verdict -- An okay way to pass the time

 

New chapter's up - and it's still pretty good IMO.

The plot is switching between angst and humor surprisingly fast, but I get the feeling that was exactly what the author was trying to accomplish.

The author might wanna consider setting the proper title (with capitalization) and summary, if they want to get this story out of the 'underdog' category. Personally, I find low number of reviews a good indicator that the author isn't trying to appease general tastes of the pre-teen audience, but rather writing for his or hers own enjoyment.

All in all, this is still a good, if a bit underappreciated fic.

Ugh.... And you just know the next chapter is going to have tons of angst in it, with the last sentence showing Nagini saying Harry is just like Voldemort when he was younger.
