    I definitely agree with the above post. I think there was a post in the Hall of shame mentioning about something called 'exformation', which is supposed to be a technique JKR uses where she doesn't tell the reader about something and lets the reader find out the 'excluded information'. As Hermione's penis was never mentioned, it was for the readers to figure out.
