Everyone has one. A song that even half a dozen years after you first heard it, it's still there with you in the back of your mind. And when you hear it on the off chance, you smile.

For me it has to be 'Bad Boys' by Inner Circle. 'Hotel California' by The Eagles comes up a close second.

    What are yours?

DuMonde - NYE Live at the Docks, second one of the list. First live set I ever listened to. Love it.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Otherside

First song I ever performed live.

The Offspring - Pretty Fly For a White Guy

The first ever single I bought.

    One Week ~ Barenaked Ladies

    Lightning Crashes ~ Live

    What It's Like ~ Everlast

The Sound of Silence ~ Simon and Garfunkle

Multiple Cake songs, but I will go with Distance, for it is the most commercialized, so probably the most known.

    Closing Time ~ Semisonic

Ring of Fire ~ Johnny Cash

Probably most of Everclear for me as well.

    Amazing Grace by Newton

    "The Load-Out," by Jackson Browne
"Take a Load Off" sung by the Rolling Stones

    Zombie by The Cranberries.

Turn the Page by Metallica. I grew up on Metallica, and this is still one of my more favorite songs.

Midnight by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Also grew up on this song. By The Way Album, ftw. ( Other RHCP: Can't Stop, Scar Tissue, Warm Tape, Throw Away your Television, This Velvet Glove, By the Way, Otherside, Under the Bridge etc...)

    Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden.

    Orange Crush by REM.

Sex and Candy by Marcy's Playground.

Smoke Weed By Khmer Kid. I don't know why, but I find this one enjoyable to listen to.

Bound for the Floor by Local H.

    Handlebars by Flobots.

    Puntos Cardinales by Cafe Tacuba.

Turn on Me by The Shins.

The Orphan Song by The Dead Bodies. Couldn't find this one on Youtube. Last.fm to the rescue...
