I read a story a while ago where Harry could control his magic early on and he saved Dudley from falling in a lake or something so the Dursleys accepted him. Alot happens and they travel over the world and Harry gets this crazy legilimes power where he can copy languages from people and control their mind. The Dursleys get kidnapped at one point and Harry and Dudley try to save them. Also harry somehow makes a copy of himself using some crazy computer thing and it all gets a bit strage. Wandering if anyone remembers this fic?

I recently reread some of mastermind hunting and while the crazy computer copy was most definitely there, I don't remember anything about Harry saving Dudley from falling in a lake.

I may be wrong, but I think you are confusing two stories.

 

When I read it, Harry saved Dudley from being rolled over. The OP might have just confused the lake with something else.

 

J22, did you happen to have a postcount of less than 20 in the other two places you posted the request in? Because in that case I can understand why they didn't feel inclined to help you out.
