    Was there ever a doubt?

Although Dyrus derped way harder than I thought he would.

Day went as expected, although LD actually performed better than I thought they would against OMG, till Nukeduck decided to either get incredibly cocky or derped so hard by diving that mid turret with his team and the minions so far behind him - even worse when Tabzz decided to follow and let the tower chunk him to half before the fight even began.

TSM beating LD was my one upset I didn't see coming, though TSM played exceptionally well and LD were questionable. FB Shen against a Vlad and you buy a cloth armor? I guess LD expected a lane-swap but I'm sure they saw WT/Xpecial head south towards bot. Oh well, Oddone camped Nukeduck perfectly who seemed to forget what VI ult does and Vlad's ult with Zed's full damage combo is so much pain as shown in the top jungle fight towards the end of the game.

Not much to say about the TSM vs SKT1 game outside thinking Regi on Gragas was a very weird choice overall. Kinda makes sense if Faker didn't have ult Regi could probably win a 1 v 1 but, never happened. Good to see people still face-check even at this level though.

Kinda sad about the break today but oh well, things are going to get interesting now that we're halfway through each group.

No, Reginald actually went even with Faker for the most part. Gragas immediate burst allows him to farm fairly well, the body slam lets him hard disengage, and he has good sustain. The same with bot and actually Wildturtle was bullying the Caitlyn pretty hard.

It's just that Dyrus went full retard and fed like a motherfucker. He played alright at the start, not falling for a three man gank. He loses his tower in exchange for his life. Then he decides to go back in after the Lee Sin chunked him for half his health and dies as a result.

Then when the whole team has no vision of either the jungler or top lane, he decides to push or farm golems and gets caught. Then he dies. AGAIN. They snowball, take the second top tower, and from there it pretty much turns into a train wreck. Oddone gets caught out, the team scatters throughout fights, and Dyrus just can't land his ulti to make a difference.

Dyrus definitely needs to be called out on this game. He played very greedily for farm, and SKT capitalized on that really well.

I also want to doubt the Rumble pick. I don't know why TSM keep choosing Rumble when all they have is Sona ulti to keep enemy teams in it. Dyrus never hit a single good ultimate all game.

Nukeduck sitting in the middle of mid lane, doing nothing to try and stop Vi from walking into his lane and farming him like Wraith camp every time her ult is up. Dyrus going aggressive 2v1 forgetting that Renekton has a stun, Lee Sin has strong early damage and Rumble is squishy as fuck without items. GG.eu just... being GG.eu.

Watching some of that play was like watching the teams I end up with in ranked.

I would also question Dyrus' choice on Rumble and Oddone's Elise wasn't all that great either. I personally felt that they should have just stuck with Vladimir and Vi, the two champs that essentially stomped LD in their previous games and weren't even banned for the SKT matchup. I mean, there were several games where one of the two - or both - chose Rumble and Elise and I honestly can't say they did well with either of them. But Vlad and Vi? Those games were stomps.

OddOne loves Elise. His mechanics are just so much better on other champs.

Fairly certain Hai or someone from the C9 camp said that TSM had a 100% win ratio against them when Dyrus played Vlad and it's easily one of his best champions, I think Vlad just has certain niche's that he needs to fit into.

Rumble wasn't the best pick ever, especially without some kind of containment or chain CC though I'm not really sure what TSM's idea was as their comp was all over the place - Sona and Rumble ults do their job on grouped targets, meanwhile Gragas ult does the exact opposite - it was like when Gambit picked Xin into Fnatic.

Oh well, despite the fucking around and screw ups from basically everyone in the group stages, I'm just happy it's this close now that we're halfway through and proof that anyone (well, bar Mineski/GG.eu short of a miracle) can make it out of the groups and into the top 8. With that said, Lemondogs can't afford to lose another game or they're basically done for which is really disappointing.

Meanwhile Fnatic/Gambit look poised to take group B, with that said however I think that will largely depend on what SSO do, do they bring back Homme or not? They looked lost without their leader and their choice of swapping Homme out for an inexperienced (but slightly better player) in the top lane makes no sense to me.

Finally, I'm rather excited to see how C9 do considering how well everyone's doing against the Korean's/Chinese. Sure, we're losing but we're giving them a fight, and C9 seem stronger than the European scene to me, maybe Gambit might be an exception if only because their bootcamp seems to have done work + their consistently strong performance at LAN events. C9 vs a Korean team would be awesome to see, even if it would basically be Korean meta vs Korean meta, albeit with Meteos farm based jungle style which the Korean's seem to hate.

Fnatic doing what Fnatic does best today, Dade back to derping hard after a farmfest vs Gambit and redeeming himself to some. Gambit's team comp and whole champion pick phase was god awful - Karthus/Aatrox into double AD? Diamond trying to rush Bork? Genja doing what Genja does best by freezing his own lane sealed the deal and a near perfect game for SSO.

Worrying stuff for Europe as Fnatic are all but guaranteed a place in the top 8 now whilst Gambit and Lemondogs are in that danger area, though I still think Gambit have a much better shot than Lemondogs do currently due to the group make-ups. Dat Monte shirt though.

It sucks that Vulcun aren't doing well, I've had a soft spot for those guys since they were APictureOfAGoose.

I think if Vulcun had an ADC who could tone down the aggression at the right times, or flat-out uses his glasses he has rather than relying on leaning that close to a moniter attemtping to watch for skillshots etc, they'd be far better off.

Mancloud and Xmithie have out done themselves this season and really progressed from the spring split, Bloodwater is Godwater for a reason, he basically is the Mithy of NA. Vulcun are a great team and they came in the top 3 of NA for a reason. I think they'll come 3rd in the group if they can beat out SSO in their next game vs them, as that basically decides 3rd place.

Not sure whether I'm stupidly excited about a day of League on Saturday with tonights games and then the final 10 later in the day or for the Quarter's when they start on Monday.

Holy crap, that Fnatic vs SSO game was pretty darn awesome.

Definitely props have to go to Fnatic's Oracles timing on Zyra. That was pretty much what forced those midgame fights that Fnatic just dominated in.

So TSM isn't going to make it to the quarter finals, which is completely expected. They simply weren't playing as crisp overall when compared to either OMG or SKT. Too many times getting caught out, especially Dyrus in top lane, and the other teams knowing how to milk minor skirmish wins for all they're worth.

Still, it was nice to see them go out with a smile in the last game. They realized they had no chance in hell with beating OMG in a rematch and decided to just have fun. Wildturtle leading a chase from all across the map was particularly funny. And OMG deciding to cut loose in response was also pretty heart-warming.

It's nice to know that in the end, these professionals still know how to have fun in this game and not take it too seriously.

It's live. You can tell by the bright "Live" notice in the bottom right.

Touche. You do know that if you open the same channel after the stream ends it will replay exactly as it was, 'Live' notice and everything? Or at least it does so in the site I'm using.

    Thanks anyway.

    Edit: Gambit plz.

I honestly do not understand Ozone refusing to use Homme. Looper's good, but it looks like they've needed Homme's leadership with Dade's terrible performance thus far.

Gambit's Z problem continues to haunt them it would seem.

Edit; Welp, bye Dade. Enjoy that bench.
