Origen's game was a study in playing smart. Origen had done their research, they knew what to do, they had planned ways to punish KT for their usual strategies, and they executed them perfectly.

Niels is a god, Peke crushed his lane, even if he got caught a few times by based Alistar.

Overall, Origen generally outplayed KT both individually and as a team, which I never expected to say. Origen played smarter. Plain smarter. Their strategies were better, the had specific counters for every single move KT made.

Didn't really know what to expect since I haven't been following the mid-season games. EU seems to be playing pretty good this year, hope we get an EU winner at worlds after the first season again.

right now, its west vs east, not eu vs na vs kr vs cn. lets all make fun of the chinese equally.

The top team in 2 of the groups is NA, 1 of the groups EU, and one KR. I mean, SKT is probably going to win the whole thing with how everyone else is playing, but this is WAY more exciting then my bracket on lolpickem had predicted.

Also, if you wanted to see how badly Picaboo fucked up after that baron sneak, he fucked up his headbutt->pulverize combo by getting it backwards.

He pulverized, then a split second later headbutted. That was the turning point of the game, that then was sealed when Arrow wandered in to die for no reason.

The Group B is going to be very interesting if IG and Fnatic win their games. It would also give Fnatic more chances to advance into knockouts.

But yeah, as much as people were talking Chinese are going to dominate the Worlds, complete opposite happened.

This Worlds is the dankest there has ever been.

Well, until Group stage finishes and the 3-0 stomps commence until SKT wins, but anyway. Worlds is awesome so far.

Balls got a penta on Darius and for some reason people now think he's not shit? Lol.

 

To be fair Balls did have a great game, not just the pentakill. He heavily beat Huni in the 1v1 matchup.

 

Well that was a painful ending for sure...

Gotta give it to C9 though, that was an awesome ending of the match. Balls surely had a very good game.
