OG vs FW game 1 was fucking awesome. Tons of back and forth, mechanical outplays on FW's side along with several catches, but OG played the map and FW's tendencies much, much better. The Dragon 5 mindgames gave them a free baron AND let them backdoor for the win.


Awesome game. Very balanced, with great plays. Immensely fun to watch.

Also, another Darius pentakill. Yay I guess.

 

That was a pretty balanced game and a great finish by Origen. A pretty good start for the quarters.

 

Whoa, that was a much bigger change than I was expecting. Dyrus, naturally, and Santorin was expected, but Lustboy too, huh. TSM wants to be at the top, so I guess they're hoping for a Fnatic miracle, and Bjerg has to carry even harder.

Regi came off as a bit of an asshole even in the post quotes, lmao.

Game 2 was much more onesided. Even though Flash Wolves had kill advantage for majority of the game, OG was still ahead overall, and they out-macro'd FW very convincingly.

The lulu just bullied Malphite until tier 2 top tower was dead. That should not have been allowed to happen.

Also, don't fucking let Niels have Kalista. Have you never seen OG play?

Origen deserved to lose game 3, and they did. Not much else to say about that.

Game 4, however, was very sloppy on both ends. OG's team comp carried them through in the end, but the game was very awkward for the first 20-25 mins.

Turns out Jinx + Morgana Black Shield + Lulu Shield/Ardent Censer is pretty strong. Who knew.

 

I'll be shocked if more teams dont play morgana. She counters Juggernauts like Darius pretty well (You wanna run in at me and slow my adc? Not fucking likely!)

I'm so happy that Niels is playing so fantastically- hes playing out of his mind.

Origin's strategic play (how does no one ever see the backdoor happening? That end to game 1 was hilarious) definitely earned them top 4 in the world material, though admittedly they had the easiest entrance into the next round.

And no one was surprised. AHQ did a really good job though all things considered- They played hella better then EDG did. Especially game 3- Unfortunately, no real weakness of SKT was exposed, because the main advantage game 3 was built off of was the Fizz/Kassadin missmatch that Faker deliberately played into, which isn't something you can count on in the future.

Also, about game 2: The game was even, with EDG having a strong early game comp (that they did nothing with), and FNC having a REALLY strong late game comp, which was going to hit soon. If FNC had lost after the remake, the sheer amount of salt that would be pouring everywhere would be deserved, because they were in position to win that game too.

 

China is the best region going into worlds they said. Eu are trash they said.
