None of that shit matters for the current season. And that's the point. If EU gets KO'd in the group stage again, EU fanboys will be less inclined to bring up past performances that don't matter that much, especially since the majority of those performances basically only happened because the e-sport was immature.

EU fans like to bring that sort of stuff up on LoL communities like reddit/Twitch. I was explaining my reasoning for why I wanted FNC to lose, based on my experiences in those communities.

 

If iG doesn't beat Fnatic, I owe Lucky a skin so obviously fnatic are gonna get crushed.

 

On a side note, a three part documentary on Doublelift was just released.

Even if you're not a CLG/NA fan, I think this is worth watching. Doublelift's story is pretty good and his road to Worlds this year was like something out of a movie.

Pretty amazing hype trailer for worlds. Almost hit Blizzard levels of hype, methinks.

 

I feel that the hype for last Worlds was so much better done than this time around. Still a pretty good vid, though.

 

Yeah last year definitely gave more of a Game of Champions feel. This one was alright, but last years was longer with a better build-up. This was just the players, instead of following the journey from late-night gaming to the very top.

 

Yeah but last year's actual worlds was boring as shit, whereas this one is shaping up nicely unless you're a FreeSM fan.
