I never had any problems with it. Popped the disk in, installed and played. I even have the EA download manager and have the latest patch. No issues.

Still I see your point. Ive heard horror stories about the game not working for weeks after someone legitimately bought it. Most of my friends pirated it because of that.

 

Odd. I installed the game, I was asked to install EADM. I did. The game wouldn't update. I closed EADM down, closed the game down. Restarted EADM, seems EADM needed to be restarted to see it needed an update, lol.

On yours, what happens when Spore needs to be patched? Cause it still doesn't recognize me even having the game on the pc.

 

Most anti-piracy measures are a slap in the face of honest buyers. Sometimes they work, most of the times it's just an inconvenience for crackers.

 

Thing is, once they figure out how to crack a certain product's protection, it tends to take them 2-10 minutes to rip the protection off any other game that uses the same protection. It's a waste of time and a hassle to legit buyers.
