Oliver is either a normal citizen, or a ballsy rebel. The throwing yourself into the fire is either a play to divide up votes, or a sacrifice to keep the wagon rolling. Either way, we need to give the man what he wants.

Oliver's brave and insane vote has shocked me enough to not suspect him as I once did... now I am confused.

 

We've already bandwaggoned for the sake of bandwaggoning twice and failed to get anything done. I really haven't seen any signs that Oliver is a rebel but we can't afford to dawdle again and get picked off.

So a compromise: If Oliver gets lynched and turns out to be anything less than fucking Luke Skywalker, the heads of those people crying loudest for his lynching get it (I'm looking at you Kang, Dark-Minion and Atomic whatever-the-fuck-your-name-is). We may not be able to afford not lynching, but we can surely weed out people bandwaggoning for the sake of it and Rebels.

True. But some people just seem far too eager to do so without the slightest reservation. Anyone who was lynching somebody blind would at least know that there's a chance they're wrong and act accordingly, Rebels have no such disadvantage.

Last night, a regal, robed figure with a DL-18 silver pistol broke into the home of Lutris, killing the victim. A quick analysis of the body reveals that the victim was cloned. It seems that Lutris was a Stormtrooper!

I see no way we are going to win this with the janitor. The worst case scenario, aka no one can figure out the scum during the daytime happens and they have to rely on Probe Droid, well we can't even be sure of that. Our Hand was too stupid to block the most obvious target of the Rebels, Lutris... or he is dead. Assuming the Probe is dead, and considering the Hand is definitely dead... (Or our Hand is retarded, but it is the same thing if he is alive or dead.)

At this point, all strategy is out of the window. Kill whoever you think is guilty.

I think we should still have the back-up hand, unless the two that died were adapt AND hand, but that seems unlikely.

Lutris was an obvious target, and KaiDASH, you are partly to blame for that. You asked people who they thought was most pro-town, and everyone answered Lutris. Did you not see it coming? Unless you were depending on the Hand to protect him, couldn't you guess that the Rebels would want to kill our greatest supporter?
Or maybe you did, and it was part of your plan.

Either way, I don't understand why the Hand did not protect Lutris. Same argument as with Kai, could you not see that we all were making him into a human sized bullseye? Unless both the Hand and the Adept are dead, which is really, really unlikely.

All in all, I think it's early for voting, and that strategy must never go out the window.

 

Yeah, I basically thought either:

1. The healer would protect lutris (because let's face it, the chances of scum randomly hitting both the healer and the backup healer are so tiny)
or 2. Scum wouldn't kill lutris because he's the obvious protect target but even if the healer thought this he should have still protected lutris because well derp. the rebels haven't been thinking things through before, why would they start now?

Arguably, the rebels made a bigger error in targetting lutris, but it worked out for them anyway because healer went and screwed the pooch first.

 

Fuck it,The Rebels are seriously lucky and our hand is a tool.They have us totaly fucking confused.Anyway we can't afford to have a mis-lynch today like yesterday. We will just become sitting ducks for the Rebels.
