People who don't want to take the game somewhat seriously just shouldn't signup at all. It makes the game just really unfun for the rest of town (people who did this know who they are, so not gonna name names).

Lurkers are extremely anti-town and anti-fun and generally lame so people shouldn't lurk. I guess this ties into my first point.

In terms of play, healer is meant to protect the OBVIOUS night kill target, so failure to do so is just wut. I think town could have won this if a few people that weren't klackerz went and reread the thread with the PoV that republic21 is scum. But town can't win unless enough town players actively want to win, so that didn't happen.

Scum played alright (it helped that town played poorly) but they definitely voted and moved too solidly together, and if Vira had been lynched it would have been extremely easy to spot the other rebels (with the exception of hgf).

I think town probably needed another info role, since too much depended on the probe.

- Wait, what's that? I got killed! Not cool, man. And they cleaned me up? But why do I feel so dirty?! Tricksy rebel scum.

- Losing interest because I'm dead, but, occasionally, do come in and lol at events.

- Random PM from Zeit telling me I'd been made a Civilian post-mortem. Rage and wondering if those tapes got out and ruined my political career.

- Game ended days later.

- Sandwich.

 

It was a fun game and a satisfying ending, although I don't understand why I became a girl >_>

Really enjoyed the game though, wouldn't mind participating in it again, whether it be Star Wars, Death Eater, Tinyhunt, Pokemon or A Song of Ice and Fire

 

That's right bitches, the Rebellion won. I didn't really care that I died, but I was devastated when I realized that, because of my death, I was excluded from Zeit's closing scene. Not cool man D8

Also Zeit, I disagree that SWII should come only after then next DE game. This is a separate game, although it was inspired by the DE one. I personally want to see another one done asap, regardless of the DE one. But hey, it's your thing.

Now, when the next SW game does come, there are two ways you can go about this (as you said on IRC yourself). Either a new planet, or during the time of the actual Republic.
If you choose to make the next game a continuation of this one, you could increase the max players cap and add new roles, or replace some existing ones. Here are some that I'd like to see.

-Rogue Sith Apprentice A la Starkiller, he is a faction in and of himself. I think the "Serial Killer" role is how it is in the normal Mafia games. He can either set out to kill everyone, or be an ally to the Republic players. Your call.

-Battle Meditation Adept On the Rebel side. He acts like a normal rebel, but he can choose to use his ability once during the game, and the Rebels get two night kills, but can do no other night move during that particular Night Phase.
Alternatively, as an Imperial, he can use his ability during the Night Phase, and the Villagers get two lynches the next Day; surrendering all their Night actions of the Night after the two lynch Day.

-Sith Lord or Imperial General Is part of the Stormtrooper team, and can survive being Night Kill'd once.


If you decide to make the next game earlier, during the time the Republic still rules, the roles that could be used vary. Jedi grand Master or Jedi Councilmember, Jedi Healer, Jedi Knight, Senator, Republic General, Clone Troopers and Astromech Droid could be used for the Villagers' side.

On the "mafia" side: Sith Lord of course, able to hide from everything, plotting in the background and fooling everyone. The Sith Apprentice can act exactly like the Jedi Knight did in this game. Now for the other mafia roles you could go with variants of the Battle Droids. Battle Droids, Droid Mechanic, Droid Commander etc; or with things like Mandalorian Mercenary, Bounty Hunter, Hutt crimelord or something along these lines.

These at the top of my head. Maybe they suck, maybe they don't, but that's that. If I think of more I'll post them here.

Whatever it's going to be, more roles and players should be added, and, along with your stricter participation rules, the next game will be awesome.
