Nah, that Jedi origins movie isn't gonna have anything to do with the EU shit, I'm pretty sure. It might take some names and locations or something, but is almost certainly gonna be wholly original outside of that. That's just how Disney's handled basically all such stuff so far (see: Thrawn).

 

Does Thrawn even exist in Disney SW outside of one namedrop in Mando, one shot in the Ahsoka trailer and the Rebels show? AFAIK he's pretty much unknown to the live-action audience.

 

He only exists in the context of Ahsoka, at the moment. Hasn't been on screen yet outside of Rebels.

But he is in the disney star wars canon, and pretty much everything except maybe a few bullet points about his character is completely different from the EU. And you could reliably expect that anything else brought in from the EU will get a similar treatment, where they take a name/aesthetic/etc and slap it on something more-or-less original and call it job done.
