You're probably right, but Sidious clouded everything for the Jedi. Neat trick, that.

    1) Jar Jar was heavy handed comedic sidekickery. Not funny in the end.

    2) BLOODRAVEN is a fanon name in that one story. Revan's "real name" hasn't been revealed. Although Malak being Alek "Squint" Squinquargesimus was... Yeah... Thats one of the weirdest names yet. >_>

    3) Sidious < Revan. Palpatine was a politician. Revan is a man of the military. Given the odds, I'm going 10:1 in favor of Revan.

Palpatine was a sneaky, conniving little bastard who could manipulate shit all over the place (though his IQ dropped around 90 points around 10 BBY). He got his ass throwm down an endless pit by his apprentice. Fucking pathetic. Revan? After Malak fired on his ship and Revan went into amnesia, Revan cut his way through half the fucking galaxy to find his identity, and predicted the coming of the Yuuzhan Vong 4000 years before the fact and left the galaxy to kick their asses. The Mandalorians thought he was the greatest thing in the world, and he personally kicked Mandalore's ass. Revan would beat Sidious faster than you can say hardcore.

I agree with you guys. Palpatine was a pretty good politician, not so much as a Dark Lord, but an evil asshole nonetheless.

Didn't know Bloodraven was a fanon thing, but I did originally get that from from whats his face's story about Kreia grabbing him from Earth. Good story though, just wish he'd write a sequel already.

But honestly speaking, the difference between Revan and Sidious is that Revan was the protagonist and Sidious was the antagonist, so Revan was contractually obligated to kick ass, and Sidious was obligated to get his ass kicked. Characters who are the main character of a video game always end up being abnormally OP. Rookie One managed more kills than Wedge fucking Antilles, and Kyle Kataran could have kicked Luke's ass.

And for a Star Wars fan you missed the more egregious error: 4000 years, not 400 years, as I had written.

    Oh crap... I forgot. It's like "I after E except after C"!

Haha, woaaaaaaaaah! I thought you just re-played Final Fantasy Tactics and were raging at the uselessness that is Malak. Maybe caused you to want to misspell his name at every opportunity?

Yes, it was 4,000 years before Luke made his way into the universe. I read quite a few wikipedia pages on various Star Wars characters.

I even read a few of the SW books too. Most particularly the Thrawn Trilogy, and also the book that said its timeline was right after Padme died, and was written (I think) up to the first movie trilogy.

Dark Lord: The Rise of Dath Vader. A decent-ish book. There are a lot better books. Bane's Trilogy (Path of Destruction, Rule of Two, and Dynasty of Evil) Is fairly epic, even if I hate Bane for destroying the Sith. D:

Some of Jania going darker was interesting too.

Katarn could kick his ass, though. Although the point is valid. No one knows how to maintain continuity anymore. >_>

Ah. No. That's wrong. Canderous does make mention of a ship that is, without a doubt, Yuuzhan Vong in origin, but Revan has nothing to do with it. If I read history right, he went out after another Sith empire. He went out after the Emperor that taught him the sith traditions.

Most people (in-universe) assume he failed, since the Galactic War crops up somewhere between 200-500 years later.

Hmm. When they say "Revan left to pursue a great exra-galactic threat", I assumed the Yuzhan Vong, though I may be wrong.

Yeah, he was off to try and destroy the Sith Emperor who had originally turned him fully Sith, but either he failed or he's going to turn up in the MMO in some way.

Nah. It's already been confirmed. Revan won't turn up at all, considering the game is set during the Galactic War, 300 years post-kotor.

Hmm I spose, they say many, not all, and don't forget the Sith Emperor is about 1000 years old, it's possible Revan might still be knocking around somewhere.

According to some of the EU content, he is still alive after the original saga. He lost his droid body ...I forgot why... but he transferred himself into an old ass Republic Hammerhead cruiser.

Sadly, if KotOR II had been made a few years sooner, we might have had HK in Revenge. Canon says that the Separatists Skywalker killed just after becoming Vader were examining and modifying their own technology based on HK.

Then BAM! Anakin fuckin Skywalker turns up and ruins another epics shit.

Hnnn. Somehow, I doubt. It would be awesome, but not really my thing. And we know the names of all of the Sith who had some sort of Longevity. Or at least who they are, since we don't have a name for the Sith Emperor.

A'Sharad Hett (A.K.A. Darth Krayt) was a Jedi during the clone wars. After he got juiced up with some Vongshits, he put himself in Cryo...

Andeddu was kind of already dead... he could just animate his body. D:
