Clearly Wookies are too silly to be Jedi.....if he wants to desperately make even more money, he should, and I think this has been suggested several times, hire the guys who made the trailers for the Old republic and let them make a movie and not touch a single thing they are doing.

Imagine how awesome that would be?

Two Words... Jar. Jar. Lucas lost his mind when he decided to draw in some of the younger crowds.

Wookie... Jedi. Just no. Wookies only purpose is decorative rugs. Chewbacca wasn't bad at first.. Big Z was cool. Then fucking Lowbacca... Hanharr ...

A movie remake of the original KotOR game would be awesome. Two or three films to cover it all. Maybe two ending sequences for Dark and Light Revan fans alike...

    I'd watch that.

Actually, Ikrit was introduced in the Junior Jedi Knights series featuring Anakin Solo, a series meant for little kids. Alas, what he (she?) was included in the NJO series is a question for the ages...
-_- A point of contention: it's Wookiee, not Wookie. Far from a big deal though. Vash, I personally liked Lowbacca, though of their clique I still preferred the twins and Tenal Ka. Also, I'm rather ambivalent about Jar-Jar; I found him funny at times, but at times a bit over the top. I was never really annoyed by him though. Besides, the prequels had far worse problems than Jar-Jar (*cough*romantic scenes*cough*).

Junior Jedi ... Senior Citizen Jedi... Doesn't matter. Fucking animals being Jedi? Fuck that.... All of Star Wars has been jumping sharks since the fucking beginning movies.

This was pretty much the entire problem with Jarjar. It was a really heavy handed attempt at introducing humor, and it failed miserably because it was so obviously so.

I remember reading something about an "extremely dangerous enemy of the Empire" being held by the Sith Emperor in carbonite or somesuch. Could just be a rumor, but it was hinted pretty heavily that it was Revan.

As for HK-47, I just finished the new TOR novel "Fatal Alliance", and I seemed to pick up a couple of hints that
the smuggler/privateer Jet Nebula's droid "Clunker" was HK in disguise.
I'm probably just imagining it, but it set my fanboy sense a-tingling.

This, in all honesty, would be much, much, much worse than an On-Screen Death Scene for Revan. I love the potential for the character, and he's damned interesting in the KOTOR comic... But Carbonite Popsicle Revan? Please god now...

Please, Lucas... Don't ruin another awesome character. Don't do it. I beg of you!

Rumor only. I remember reading that somewhere. Though it would be awesome...

Well, since things in Carbonite ARE preserved, conceivably, if Revan was frozen in Carbonite, he could be brought back and he could kick the Sith emperor's ass.

The awesomest way that the game's plot could go is this being the ending. Your character finds Revan's carbonite corpse, which then proceeds to WTF!Pwn the entire motherfucking empire.

Since I didn't make it very clear in this post:

Here is a bunch of theory on HK and his final endings to Prequel era... Eventually he went on to possess some ship's computer and was killed when it went all asplody on Luke and Celeste Morne I think... Or used to, anyway.. They may have retconned it, since I do remember him and Luke interacting at one point..

Don't look at me, fucker... Othalan fucking said it!

And regarding all of this nonsense, I want to make my thoughts clear.

This is a terrible idea. Revan should be dead so no one can rape his memory. I dislike it, you dislike it, but its gotta fucking be that way. It has to if continuity is to be maintained.

Besides, there will be no Defrost-Revan-and-watch-as-he-pwns-the-sith-emperor-and-everyone-eveyone-else. The Great Galactic War, which is when the Old Republic games take place, is pretty much already been scripted out and finished.

The war ends, and the Emperor turns it all over to his council and fucks off to who knows where for who knows why. It hasn't been revealed. But Revan does not suddenly spring to life and massacre all of them.

Which is how it should remain.

    You know why it has to. Don't make me say it. ;-;

Doesn't make me any less depressed. As Revan, I cut a massive swathe through the entire Republic. (approximately 6 times total). Revan crushed the Mandalorians and kicked the shit out of Mandalore. Revan does not fucking lose. Especially not to a Sith Empire.

Not quite true. You look into it more, you see Revan was did kick the shit out of the Mandies, but when he turned up for the battle on Malachor, he was not only late, his fleet was in bad shape by the time they joined the rest of the republic against the Mandalorians...

Can't remember the source for it though... I think it was the Old Republic Campaign Guide...

Hey guys. Huge SW fan here, reporting in.
I'm glad I butted into that particular discussion, since Revan was, is and always will be my favorite character. I've played KOTOR dozens of times and read everything I could about him.
It IS frustrating that nothing is known of what happened to him. Either LucasArts has abandoned the idea fo Revan, or they are waiting for us fans to shimmer and boil before coming out and presenting a totally new game TFU style, starring Revan against the Sith Empire.
However, having made known how Revan was the single best the galaxy has ever seen, he may have met his match in the Sith Emperor. Since the Emperor was strong enough that Revan had to pose as being turned to the Dark Side instead of kicking his butt then and there and since we havent heard anything of him, but the Emperor is still the same, then I'm sorry to say that Revan probably got pwned. I mean, he did go alone, and as badass as Revan is, he cant face the entire Sith fucking Empire plus the Emperor alone.

I'm still crossing my fingers for a Revan game TFU style.

    Revan is male. Period.

In a word? No. That would blow hard. There wasn't nearly enough customization in TFU. The controls were awful. The story was ... entertaining, but kind of pointless and lead to a point I shall discuss further down.

This has, numerous times, been long confirmed as canon. The canon ending to the KOTOR games are Light Side Male Revan and Female Exile. And an interesting, if slightly conflicting note, it was the Exile who ordered the Mass Shadow Generated activated and fucked Malachor.

So do you hate Lucas yet? If not: Maulkiller.

    This is all.

    I know, stupidly unoriginal. I mean, Maul-killer? C'mon.

But you're not right about TFU. It had an awesome gameplay the likes of which we've never seen before. Can you name one game where movement was so easy and so real as there?
We've all heard how Revan was the best deulist and awesome and divine and blah blah blah, but all we saw in KOTOR were the same lightsaber moves, and a monotone of force powers.
A Revan game TFU style would rock. Big time.

Jedi Outcast, for one. Marek handle's like a brick flies. Lets not even mention how much worse it was on the Wii. For as hyped as they made it, they could have perfected it a bit more... Plus Jedi Outcast gave you realistic lightsaber combat. Which meant when you hit someone in the chest, they didn't just fall down. You mother fucking cut them in half.

No... It really wouldn't. Because they appeal to Revan is no one fucking knows what happened to him. Its kind of implied he went off to fight the emperor. Which more than likely means he's dead. Same with the Exile.

Leave it that way. No one would handle it well enough that I would approve, least of all Lucas.

I've played Jedi Outcast. I think it sucked. I think it doesnt even come close to comparing with TFU. We agree that we disagree.

    Plus, TFU2 will have dismemberment.

I strongly disagree, sirrah. Jedi Outcast has my support for the following reasons:
    1. The FIRST realistic lightsaber combat action
    2. Multiple styles (even before modding happened) of lightsaber combat
    3. Force lightning FFS!
    4. RAPTOR JEEZUS IS A JEDI!
    5. Trying to carve your name in a solid wall with your lightsaber was the first thing I attempted. And it was great.

Jedi Outcast did it first, and better than most that have followed.

At first I thought this said "TF2 will have dismemberment." :(

We've had this ever since g_saberRealisticCombat 1, cauterized storm trooper heads can only roll so many ways.

Yet you still go on about Jedi Outcast for introducing it?

And while Jedi Outcast did introduce it first, when I played it I found it horrid. Dismemberment or not, everything else I didn't like.
