Stumbled upon this gem just now, although it has supposedly been around for a while (search didn't find it in older posts here, so...).

It's basically a 20 minutes long fan-made mockumentary about a day in the lives of a squad of Star Wars stormtroopers. It has pretty much everything you'd see in a CNN report on the US troops in Iraq - some soldier slang and back-talking, official propaganda, questioning suspicious individuals (very funny) and some action near the end.

About 90% of this is done in CGI, which is pretty damn impressive, considering this is independent spit & glue production. The quality is pretty decent too, somewhat like cutscenes in a modern video game. They could have put more heart in physical stunts, but voice acting was fantastic (there's almost nothing but voice acting, since they are wearing storm trooper gear).

Anyway, here's the link to the official site: http://impstherelentless.com/tek9.asp?pg=chapter1

You should be able to download the movie there, although I never tried it myself (snatched it off a local hub).

Heh, that was pretty good. Personally, I like this one, even if it's quality isn't as good. Star Wars Cops

The end was particularly memorable ;)
