I'm not sure when I'm going to run Gotham (formerly Batmafia). After Warlock Hunt, definitly. Anything after that depends on when Lutris is going to run his game.

I'm pretty sure Lutris is going to start his mafia game after Warlock ends.

Anyways, great game guys. I was convinced the scum were going to win, but Nae'blis turned the game around. D:

I knew I was found out the minute I was "visited" but I had been hoping to do a lot more damage than I was able to.

Since people are mentioning their future mafia games:

IT IS THE 41st Millennium. For more than a hundred centuries the Emperor of Mankind has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Earth. He is the master of mankind by the will of the gods and master of a million worlds by the might of his inexhaustible armies. He is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with power from the Dark Age of Technology. He is the Carrion Lord of the vast Imperium of Man for whom a thousand souls are sacrificed every day so that he may never truly die.

YET EVEN IN his deathless state, the Emperor continues his eternal vigilance. Mighty battlefleets cross the daemon-infested miasma of the Warp, the only route between distant stars, their way lit by the Astronomican, the psychic manifestation of the Emperor's will. Vast armies give battle in His name on uncounted worlds. Greatest amongst his soldiers are the Adeptus Astartes, the Space Marines, bio-engineered super-warriors. Their comrades in arms are legion: the Imperial Guard and countless planetary defence forces, the ever-vigilant Inquisition and the tech-priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat to humanity from aliens, heretics, mutants -- and far, far worse.

TO BE A man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be relearned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods.

40k Mafia's pretty much done, I just need to finish up some shit and send it to Beta readers.

Okay... that is definitely my next game. My question though, is if you are going to do some sort of Space Marines(and Imperial Guard, since Vindicare Assassin as the Pro-Town kill role = :awesome, well, that and the obligatory Inquisitor) vs. Chaos, primarily, or something else. It sounds like something else, due to the line "they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat to humanity from aliens, heretics, mutants -- and far, far worse," but I'm not sure how you can justify any of the other factions working together, either as Pro-Town or Anti-Town. Chaos would likely be a sort of "Chaos Undivided" though, to meet the different role types.

Well, maybe the Eldar could be friendly, because they are tricksy like that, and the Imperium has worked alongside them before. Then again, Eldar could also pretty easily cover all of the Antagonist roles. A Dark Eldar certainly fits well with a 'neutral' role akin to the Serial Killer.

Bah, you seem like you have it all planned out either way. I'm just excited to participate in a WH40K Mafia, a bit more than Gotham or Game of Thrones, even if the others would be fun too.

The setting is Black Crusade, with the Imperium vs Chaos and an Eldar Farseer as the 'alien/serial killer' role.

Riley Poole's QT was awesome. Definitely worth the read, I kept laughing because he was so dramatic but kept having bad luck with his kills. Also, klackerz's "Fucking fuck" after finding out I was a civilian totally made my day.

Yup, the QT's were good reads. Although, the Observer's QT does raise more questions about Irene still being alive in Warlock Hunt, but I don't really like meta-gaming, and especially taking conversation about the game outside the thread and applying it to the game.

Ignoring that, again, fun reads. Riley Poole's QT especially. Also, I have to admit that seeing the Separatists getting screwed over by Nae'blis in QT-Real-time was immensely amusing. That, and in retrospect, I really wish I had not been so busy lately, that I too missed some of the connections between the Separatists. Well, until they were essentially handed to me on a silver platter thanks to Scrib and Sesc. Hopefully the WH40K game doesn't start until at least next week(although, if it's after Warlock Hunt ends, that could very well be a few weeks), because my Midterms will be over by then.

There's mention of a Gotham game and Lutris' game - and since I only really started mentioning mine on IRC/here in the last day or so, I'm pretty sure both of those have priority over me.

What's this? I wake up and give this thread a cursory check and what do I find? We've won?

I do feel bad for the Separatists. This was going the way of the other SW game and then they had two bam!wtf! nights and lost...three (?) people followed by everyone role-claiming and simply striking names off a list till we had them all.

I do have to say I fumbled, if I had revealed myself earlier we might have gotten klackerz a night earlier, ending the game. I also helped lynch Kai for no other reason than to get a lynch, but in my defense, I really wanted to investigate, and it really did fuck up the bad guys. That and that bad-ass Jedi Master :awesome

All in all, a far better game than the first for me, even though we lost some big roles at the beginning. I think I especially enjoyed the tension because I knew I had to stay alive for as long as possible to gather as much intel as I could.

So all in all, this was a great fucking fun. And this line made my day:
