I like the story on a force user, because were obviously super strong force users and stuff.. but how does it work on the non force using classes...

I mean there is a lot of stuff that goes on that I cant see working if ur not a force user.... Its weird

Particularly things like the emperors power. I mean how does that manifest in a bounty hunter or a smuggler? Does it manifest for them at all?

Sadly.. nothing especially amazing. That was one of the few things that disappointed me.

I had massive issues with being thrown around like a Padawan as a supposed Sith Lord. No doubt the story is homogenized to account for all classes, but fuck that.

    Okay, I've finished the story:

Where the fuck is my crew?

WHERE THE FUCK ARE VETTE AND JAESA?!

    You can keep the rest.

On vacation :) . That said there is a station inside the alliance command (command (where you get the rewards for levelling up your specialists)) that allows you to call up all your companions if you want but also states that they will normally appear over the next chapters. And it is really not like you have any shortages of characters once you do some of the alerts... In fact I am swamped in various NPC`s whose only effect seems to be to populate my base and give me hundreds of ways to spend gifts while otherwise ignoring my presence.

    Level 55, still on Voss.

I figure by the time I finish Corellia, I'll be close to 60. What's next in the actual standard play order, and should I do it or skip it and go strat to latest content?

Ilum and the False emperor questline should be the next part of the story. It is fairly easy to do and I suggest you complete it, especially on the empire side. Just remember that the last two missions are flashpoints and that following the questline will cause you to start with the tactical variants which means it might be a good idea to drop them and get the solo variant.

After that comes the first expansion, Rise of the Hutt cartel, which is Makeb and also done relatively quickly if you only focus on the main quests. I personally feel that doing it as a Imperial is nice since it prepares a certain groundwork with characters and the storyline while the republic side could probably skip it. After that comes the the terror of Beyond interlude in which you deal with the Dread Lords, it is skippable in my opinion though I guess it doesn`t that long to complete with the new chars.
After that comes Shadows of Revan which is I think mandatory if you want to play the new expansion and which can take some time to play through (especially Rishi can take some time if you want to explore it).
Then you have another Czerka interlude, skip-able, and then comes a short interlude on Ziost, which is once again part of the main story and should be done at least once.

If that summary confuses you don`t worry, the game itself will guide you through all those things and the holotable in your ship (where you can choose to start the interludes/chapters) also ranks them and makes clear what is an interlude and what is a story of the main game.
I would suggest that you play all the "chapters"/expansions since they continue the story and do some foreshadowing for the next expansion.

I've done Ilum before, that was out before I originally quit the game, so I'm familiar with the Malgus storyline.

    Hutts it is, then!

Working on my 'Legendary player' status before even contemplating max level.

Inquisitor and Warrior done since launch.

Jedi Knight, Imperial Agent done. Agent story was great.

Currently doing Trooper, chapter one was what you'd expect after the opening on Ord Mantell - but starting chapter two I went full "wut".

Is Havoc squad really being sent around playing fetch?

I'm hoping it'll get more exciting closing on chapter three 'cause if not I'll fall for the Inquisitor replay selfhype I've been looking forward to since I started this little treck towards the special snowflake portrait borders.

Hey another one in the search for the special icon!

Working on my Agent right now and yeah I really should've played this class sooner.

    As for the Trooper:

Yes, you really are being sent around playing fetch, you need to get the pieces together for the big assault which only Havoc squad can do apparently. Your going to recruit your last squad members in this Chapter so that part makes sense but the other part...eh. Trooper has one of the weaker story lines after Chapter I imo. As an aside your going to be doing some more of this in Chapter III, but the end pay off on Corellia is great.

Is Bioware stupid? At this point, they have to be. Otherwise they're criminally incompetent.

Who the hell starts patching in a specific time-zone's prime-time?

Why didn't they do this in the very late evening/early morning?

This was supposed to take only 4h and now it's been double that.

They don't even know what they've fucked up with their patching or how long this will take.

They would be doing the patching in a prime-time anyway, somewhere. And since the servers all run the same code, easier to update everything at once, than having to deal with several update schedules, and perhaps different problems that have to be fixed in each region.

So I only briefly played this so I domt know much. I watched all the cinematics again, but this was the first time I saw the cinematic with the two brothers who are neither Sith nor Jedi. Whats the story behind that? What are they (and their faction) supposed to be?
