Chaotic and I played some 2v2 last night. The first game was really fun. The second one I got cannon rushed, in my own base...I couldn't do anything to help him out. We still won, because he's fucking epic like that.

 

Just played a 2v2 with poobah. Completely boring noobstomp T__T.

Also he tried this annoying cheese strat against me XD. I think if I didn't place my spawning pool there I might not even have been able to see it. Maybe I should have gone 8 pool for the early crawler? Hmm O_O.

 

Well brah, it was the first placement match. Of course it was boring. Next time I'll just planetary fortress rush to make things interesting.

 

Yeah, gotta love 2v2 placements. You can do whatever you want and you'll fucking curbstomp the other guy.

 

Wow... HDH invitational TheLittleOne vs WhiteRa games in the RO4 were so epic XD.

 

Shame it involves listening to HD and Husky.

 

I don't think they're that bad. They miss a lot of stuff that goes on in the actual match but they're amateurs so I give them a lot of slack XD.

 

Any slack is too much slack. Not only do they miss shit, but they are annoying as fuck to listen to and they sound the exact fucking same. Day[9] is so much better.

 

I've been trying to find Day[9]'s shit forever...any link? Does he do HiDef commentary? Only reason I watch HD and Husky are because they do HiDef, and I can see basically all the text.

 

I'll try to find the Day[9] Daily thread. Has a lot of stuff. Oh, but most of his isn't really commentary in the same sense that HD and Husky's are. He does some of that, but not too often.

While his voice may very well be more pleasant than mine, I still can't listen to that shit lol.

 

The major difference between Rise [and also, Moletrap and Diggity] and HD/Husky is that the latter know jack all about how to play - yet they insist on doing analytical commentaries. The former are actually pretty decent at the game too. Plus of course, they're awesome as to hang out on vent with.

I personally cant listen to HD/Husky because their commentaries make me rage. I'd rather just dl the replays and watch them myself.

 

Just lost one of my placement matches...I was joking around with the race selection buttons, and just as I was about to go back to Zerg, I got stuck with Protoss. I fucking hate Protoss. I'm slow enough as it is, but add 'toss into the mix and it's a recipe for fail.

Going to make up for it by playing Zerg the rest of the time, and rape some little nubs in placement.

 

I dunno part of the reason I'm sticking with HD and Husky is because of how dumb they sound sometimes. Their noobness amuses me XD.

Rise is a little less terrible than Husky and HD, yeah. Still not good, though. No one will match up to Tasteless. Ever.

For Zerg: Roach food increased from 1 to 2. While I appreciate the fact that this may encourage more tech ups instead of just roach mass, please stop nerfing zerg without buffing them back up a bit. DAMN!

Protoss: Increased forge creation time by 10 seconds and reduced its HP/Shields by 150 each. Wtf is that for?

Terran: They made Thors smaller in radius, meaning it'll be even harder to kill them with melee units now. God damn Terran buffs are getting ridiculous.
