Then MC walked all over him because he's oGs fucking MC. So happy.

That was a great game by LosirA, but I wanted MC to win.

At least his last game against MC was decent, a lot better then the first two.

 

He played stupidly that entire series. His great strength is mechanics and macro, but he decides that he's going to early game rush one of the strongest Protoss.

If he'd just played to his strengths and gone for long macro games, he could've easily won.

 

Well, he certainly could've won, but I wouldn't say easily. MC isn't exactly weak in a macro game. In fact, I daresay he's strong as fuck in macro games, which is why he tends to go for greedy openings every other game.

 

No, probably not easily. But at least he would've had a chance.


Anyone know what the status is on the league promotions? I've been fightin' Diamond players for a while now, and I'm not sure whether it's a glitch or I just haven't had enough promotion games.

 

As far as I know, promotions are handled by MMR and something that represents margin of error, so once your MMR is higher than the boundary for diamond players (which it probably is since you're playing them) and beyond the margin of error, you'll get promoted.

Unless they decide to skip diamond and throw you into masters.

 

Rehio, I'm in the same spot - mostly play diamond, have actually twice faced Masters level players on the ladder - and yet I'm still plat. Ah well, we'll see what happens. MMR is a fickle thing.

 

From what I've heard, you won't get promoted until your MMR stabilizes. Something about the server making sure you can't promoted from a random winning streak.
