Ok, that trailer was actually pretty awesome. Made me really hyped for the campaign. And definitely motivated me to go replay the WoL campaign as well.

Maybe. I've been practicing HOTS with my team for a while now, and things like proxy reaper, proxy widow mines, hellbat marauder pushes, etc - all this shit takes no work to execute and is almost impossible to stop. Don't even get me started about skytoss. I was top 200 masters player in NA last season, and I'm losing on Ladder in HOTS to players who could barely crack masters league. It's absurd.

 

I never made it much further than platinum, but here's a suggestion that's gonna help you.

That's how it was in WoL beta and release as well. Hell, IEM's first Starcraft 2 tournament had Morrow coming in and smacking Idra with Reapers in the finals.

Roaches also used to be 1 supply.


Things will balance out. Zergs will figure out the ways to counter this kind of stuff as well.

I know folks want an instantly balanced game, but it's not going to happen. It takes a lot of games and a lot of supervising and making small changes.

 

I just want the game to mod.

 

To be fair, zerg has been viewed as OP for about a year now. Bout time we were given a bit of stick.

 

Zerg spent longer as the worse race in WOL, to be fair.

 

You just have to build an army before getting 75 drones.

I'm just joking, I know there is a lot more to it then that but when you look at some of the GM level replays the zerg gets a few lings and just drones the whole time till he reaches 75, and the terran or protoss is on about 36.

 

Who needs 75 SCVs when you have Mules?

Unsurprisingly enough, another season of GSL just got ruined by ZvZ finals. So glad they're done with Wings of Liberty. HotS may be unbalanced, but fuck, it can't be this bad.
