Hey, just left Eido a message, but I want to make you guys aware as well - I have a sort of long term medical thing that flairs up from time to time, and long story short I'm making this post from a hospital bed.

I'll probably be fine within a day or two, so hopefully nothing to worry about wrt me continuing here or just me in general, but I probably won't be around for a bit.

Until I'm back, I encourage you all /heartily/ not to lynch outside of Jan and fonti.

The scum vigi with Jan on their team. The one trying to portray Tom as mafia when Waco was between you two but preferring your lynch to Tom's. Come on fonti, that's not even difficult. Have a tougher one ready for me tomorrow.

There are some thoughts, but most of them are fairly half hearted.

I know half of the game are either not around for reasons, but if people actually want to talk about stuff, let me know. I am around for a while, doing things.

 

I'd rather hear your half-hearted thoughts then the fully baked ones from most of the rest of the game.

With all the claims I now have absolutely no clue on the gamestate and am now becoming more and more paranoid of people I soulread as town on d1 (Hi typh, Math, Q).

Also, yes, I agree that eco's slot should have been the shot for town!vig.

So I don't know what to think anymore about fonti either.

Someone please help.

 

Shooting a slot that just replaced in and has the potential to clear itself or trash mafia is stupid.

 

I'm confused as to what you expected out of that slot in order for him/her to clear themselves. I rather thought it would be pretty difficult.

I don't know eco or what they are capable of. Preventing the possibility of something good coming from the slot would have been incredibly anti town.

Like, I get that eco is an unknwon element and sometimes that can be a really good thing, but CF literally spent the entire day questioning people on "who died" and "what happened?"

Ecos slot should not have been shot. There was nothing to know or resolve about Ecos slot on n1.

Toms slot yes, just to resolve wagons and give us actual informations. (and he did claim vt, which means he basically is never a bad shot)


I will say that Typhon is a bit more town than i gave him credit, since he managed to be top poster in a game that went completely off the rails.
It went off the rails in part due to him and fonti fighting .. so like .. it is natural that he is somewhat up front with posts, but he gets some points for that.

There is still the issue with the way he was pointing out that he was doing stuff that should be towny to others, while he was doing it.
(Look i am doing/not doing x, that is towny of me, etc.) .. this heightened sense of self awarness is not something I read last game.


Math has not evolved their reads a lot after the first 200 posts, but it feels half of the game haven't.
They gave scumreads on von/fonti/tom early on, said fonti is always bussing tom.
Now von is basically confirmed town, and I am curious to where they stand on the rest of the game (unless i missed out on that).

It is that thing, that they want people to give readwalls and commit to reads, but don't publicly commit to full reads themselves.


Q reads good on toan, but we know he does read well as either alignment. I have nothing on him so far, straight down the middle at this point.

Miner - do you see more similarities or differences between Mathblade and/or Q this game and last game? You might have a special inside since you rolled scum together last game.

That was just weird, but I don't think it was indicative of anything, just bad play.

I mean it is more likely that scum try to dumbtell with something like that, than town actually making those posts on their own.

But in the end I don't think I know anyone who actually ever tried that.

 

There's really no way to spin that. CF has lots of mafia experience. He was told at least three separate times what the state of the game was.

Some situations, I'm perfectly content with a "would town do this? y/n" answer rather than "would scum do this" because scum have more reasons to do those kinds of things.

Mathblade has not given a single readslist or anything close to it, while making it clear that they expect others to make them, so they can gauge others persons thoughts :

Those two tings don't mesh well at all.

 

The ONLY argument I could see for town!CF doing that is that he just straight up did not feel like reading anything, which is awful.

 

Who is CF? (as in tell me something about said person)
Don't think I played a single game with him.

I will say that throwing in the towel in a pointless/useless rage, that is more scum than town.

I know such things, since I am the master of pointless raging.

Glad we agree that the slot is likely scum, since it doesn't have anything else going for it.
