Mal is in my nulls at this point. Good town read on her early, which faded somewhat during Day 2, and then near the end I think Eco pointed out some stuff that shifted them firmly there.

Miner has kept citing Jan posts that he says exonerate him, but I haven't seen that in what's been posted. I need to look at those, though with last game I'm probably better off just isoing him.

I don't think it's a clear, though. If scum was in the chat with him, they were probably just yelling "Day 1" at him there as hard as any of us. I mean, everyone read that conversation, many of us in real time, and no one got it till now. Why would scum be any difference?


The Jarizok lynch conversation reinforces my Cobalt read from Day 1. I don't agree with his reasoning, but the brash assertiveness and emotion is not coming from scum.

I have a read on Mal. It's null. Null doesn't mean no read, it means reads cancel one another out to put them on the edge of the knife. I explained how Mal is null. I mean, scum lean of my nulls, but null regardless.

So Eco's first post is very interesting for potential teams. I don't think him and Miner can be w/w, because this came at a time when no lynches were really happening, and I don't see him doing that to a teammate when it could easily coalesce a lynch. Sure, he could be going after my style, but given Tom's flip - which he was prescient about - I just don't see scum being in bad enough of a position for that to be valid.
I also think putting Jan and Math together in ??? Is a bit on the nose, so I'm a tad against a Eco/Math team.

Fun teambuilding aside, what does the early few posts tell us about Eco's alignment?

I think the way he pushes on Miner is scummy. There's no links, or quotes there. He gives a narrative, but in a post-heavy game like this it's unlikely many people will follow that up (especially as the forum software doesn't exactly support finding posts by number). After that he doesn't do much for it either. He asks tom about it here but he kinda lets it slide. That tells me he doesn't really believe in the wagon all that much.

Tom placement is both courageous and towny. Points.

Jan interaction is bad, but he didn't exactly attract attention so eh.

Already mentioned I don't like the dLGN reasoning. I'll add to that that I don't like the case overall, the points he found scummy I didn't have a problem with, and the points he liked I didn't.

I like this. This is what made me reexamine Mal. Doesn't seem good for a team with Mal, either, comes out of nowhere, during a power-role forcing Jan down our throats. This is actually really really towny, especially with the analysis I did earlier.

Okay, it technically didn't come out of nowhere. But he provided a new angle to it. That bespeaks wanting to get him lynched, and I don’t see scum!Eco having the balls to set that up shortly after Jan gets caught.
