Because I want a read on how they fit together. I think Mathblades play works best as scum who's trying to work out if they can survive the day or not, and is thus trying to avoid giving off reads, but is not yet certain, so doesn't want to go outed!Jan yet. Similarly, dLGN's lack of presence and stance on Math fits into that: he doesn't know if they should be distancing/bussing yet and is waiting to see.

I don't want to give him that time.

Cobalt is the only person I am comfortable with as town. If Fluff is mafia I think I've already lost. This is not fonti's town game but even if she is SK we need her vote today so that's a thing as well. I am town.

That leaves Miner, Mathblade, Quiddity, Eco.

I really, really struggle to find the town in this group. I don't know if there are any real unalignments between them so building a team of 3 is not very easy.

Quiddity - has been relentlessly pushing me for just really contrived reasons. Has been pushing a narrative where I have some desire to be off wagon when I have been where I have been for very, very clear reasons the entire game. I have never had a throwaway vote or voted someone that I haven't tried to push, HARD. Calling him mafia was hard as he's definitely been high effort but at some point he's just mafia fmpov even if I can't make a great case why.

Eco is also someone I hesitate to call mafia. It's obvious that he and Quiddity are good players and on some level his posts sound good and he's certainly putting in effort as well. It's hard to disagree with his points on the surface but they're lacking contextual and meta considerations that make our conclusions different like in interpreting Jan's spew and our treatment of Fluff.

Miner - considering how badly off track we've been this game, particularly d1, I really don't see his interactions with Jan as unalignment. Jan is fickle and I've seen him lash out at both town and mafia - including partners for doing just "bad" illogical/unnecessary pushes. I never understood why fonti townread him and regardless of whether Jan got fonti's soft or not Miner would definitely fit on a team that let fonti shoot n2 when they knew she had kp and her crosshairs are unreliable. Has been super low effort as the game has progressed.

Mathblade - I struggle to read this game greatly. I really don't know what else to say. I've been on a different page than them almost the entire game and I really disagree with the Cobalt push today. I can't tell if they're just the really wrong town in the group or are just mafia.

Thinking about interactions I think Eco and Quiddity go together well. Quiddity posted something yesterday that was part of his incessant push on me saying I (or, "mafia") wanted to open Fluff up for a mislynch and was pushing me for it and seemed to forget that that was primarily driven by Eco.

I think that Eco and Mathblade make sense as well. Eco called out Mathblade for a bad push, voted them, and then very quickly found a reason to swap to Fluff and drop it completely. Eco called out a mathblade for a 'BIG RED FLAG' in Jan's spew but again did not push it.

Miner is definitely the odd person out especially considering his lynch order today of "Eco, Q, Math, dLGN in that order." I am tempted to call him the town of the three for this but I don't know if scum need to all be on the same page today in lylo where we have to all vote correctly to have any chance of lynching them.

Gun to head I would say Quiddity/Eco/Mathblade but I am anything but confident right now.

I have been around the game basically the entire time. I did not have to be here at EOD last phase to talk with mal and try and solve with Typhon. But I was. And I saw the game was dead last night and was busy today. I am not obfuscating or delaying. Stop pushing garbage that could have been said about everybody at some point this game.

Dlgn, do you think Miner and eco are unaligned?

 

I apologize for my activity/effort this game.

I'm usually not like this, but being completely honest d1-d2 took a lot out of me.

I had that whole argument with both tom and Jan, all the while preparing for the MIT thing that I talked about. I didn't sleep for 50 hours straight. I felt even worse with tom's flip.

So yeah, those were some pretty soul-killing days.

But anyways, I'm here now. I'm probably going to sleep soon, after I finish some notes. I still think that Eco is the correct lynch today. I don't believe that him defending his slot rather than his behavior comes from a town place. I also dislike his case on fluff. I'm not sure who the other partners are, or even what the setup may look like, but my best guess at this point is that there's two in Q/dLGN/Math.

I firmly believe fluff is town, and if he's scum then... yeah I'm just going to try and forget about this game as soon as possible. I also do not think that Cobalt is scum here, based on both his interactions and reads, and my own meta on him, since he's been nothing but scum on this site.

Fonti will only be lynched in F3/F4 if all scum are dead. Unless she starts killing in the night, leave til then.

I don't think so. Posts like he just made sound like yes but considering we need all 5 town to vote correctly today does it even matter? You said you don't want to lynch Eco so we can't get 5 town to vote on him today full stop. Eco has called miner ~clear and so there's no reason for Miner not to bus hard because Eco has a reason not to vote him, especially if I or other people in his POE do.
