1. The way he starts off reacting to my read by saying I should know better and acting like he thinks I'm mafia, only to switch to dodging giving a read on me. Seems like a mafia who almost thought the best way out of a lynch was to discredit me and then thought better of getting into a 1v1.

Thought exercise:
If typh is town, would scum have joined his little wagon blip?
Or been too scared and just fluffed?
If typh is scum, who derailed it?
Would they even bother to react that early in the phase?

 

I think you say "but yeah" more as mafia, Tom. You said it a fair bit in that tinyhunt where you were scum and here, but I don't remember that phrase from your town games. Will have to check to find out.

I like Q voting before he catches up, and I think he actually hadn't caught up here. Mafia!Q seemed very invested in taking his time and being informed when making decisions.

Oh yeah, this thing. Good work me. Jari did the same thing. I think I dislike Typhon's more, because Jari's has a possible non-scum context of wanting to be part of the high posters.

 

I've not analyzed my own use of "but yeah"
Now I'm for sure gonna think about it though.

Math read was real, but it was apparently a little bit of a misunderstanding.

And of course I'm annoyed for being suspected for shit like that. I really don't want to give another speech about how I pocket and fake reads for effect and actively try to get certain people to scumread me.
It's exhausting.
It's also why I get vigged more often than lynched.

 

I have to leave for a while, but this post has been stuck in my mind half of the night.

why do you think I am town? (i don't think i have done anything that one should read me town for. yes i know those things because i am a smartass).

To everyone else :
This feels similar to last games mathblade when they gave weird/weak townreads early on to buddy people.
People said that it didn't happen this game. But what is this?

On another note .. I think it is towny that Von after being called out did not even try to fluff, but instead kept his style and even mentioned it once or twice. (Scum!Von is so much more likely to freeze up there or cave and try to fake some townyness)

This read might be important for Jari, since he was tunneling on Von early on.

Still not sure why Mal voted. I think it's a wording tell from the "seems right," based on him calling it a Citrus tell. I picked that up from Citrus back when he used it a lot on here, so I imagine he used it in a mafia game with Mal. Is that correct?
