It's not much, but from the atmosphere of the trailer a few of my fears about it being "The O.C. in space" have been put to rest. Looks pretty good in so far as these things give us any idea of what something is like.

Hopefully more BSG than OC, but yeah the preview looked promising.

 

I really don't think this series will go far; it sounds far too much like BSG and Voyager to have anything new to contribute to the sci fi genre.

I could be really wrong, but unless the show is a lot better than it currently sounds, it's likely to only get one or two seasons by banking off the Stargate name.
