How long did it take you guys to get the email with the password because it has been around 4 hours and I havent go it yet...

You probably mis-spelled your email account name or somethin when sighing up. I joined the place yesterday and my password was sent in less than a minute. So other than an error when sighning up, cant think of any other reason or explanation to your situation.

I'm feeling generous after farmfest2006, so I sent you a small welcome package MoPhire.

I'd recommend spending the naq on getting your unit production as high as possible.

Also, some advice which I would have found useful at the start:

- A soldier without a weapon does 0 damage, so only train as many soldiers as you can buy weapons for them.

-You should only really buy the top level of weapons, anything else is a waste of naq.

-Don't invest in Assasins/anti-intelligence drones ect. as they do little for you. Both the protection of your own realm from spys and sabbing, and spying and sabbing yourself is done by undercover agents, so invest in them instead.

-Just because you are a higher rank than someone doesn't mean you'll be able to beat them. Also, try to avoid attacking ascended people, even if they are weak and have lots of naq out, as they tend to rise through the ranks quickly and will come back to bite you on the arse.

- You may have already realised this, but if you go to the back pages of the Attack screen you will find hundreds of inactive accounts with 0 defence and they just sit there accumilating naq. It's not that hard to find ones with high amounts of naq, so I would recommend not attacking anyone with less than 75million naq.

 

Wow. I really appreciate the gift, and the advice is invaluable. I now have some hope of progressing gamewise. If you ever form a DLP allience, count me in.

Either alot more of us would have to join, or those of us that have joined will have to rise in rank a bit before it can happen, but it's certainly possible.

Untrained mercs do nothing. All they are good for is they are a secure way of storeing naq. You buy them, then sell them when you need the money. You do loose some naq in the process though.

Offensive soldiers can only use offinsive weapons right? So if I have 100 offensive soldiers and 100 defensive soldiers so will I only need to buy 100 offensive weapons and 100 defensive weapons... and miners does not use weapons at all.

 

Correct.

I would advise only buying the best weapon set as, although the lower weapon sets are cheaper, the amount of damage they do per amount of naq spent on them is less. They are also more expensive to repair.

I would also advise only training super soldiers - don't bother with the normal ones.

is it possible to train super soldiers directly from untrained soldiers? I thought you had to first train them to be normal soldiers and then "upgrade" them to become super soldiers

 

Yeah thats right. What I meant was that you should change all your normal soldiers into supers.

 

I have another question. Motherships, how important are they? I am thinking of building one but they cost a massive amount of naq so are they worth it?

 

Yes I think so. You need them to conquer other planets and they can defend your main planet and also help attack. You can buy more shields, weapons and fleets for your mothership and thus upgrade it. I advise you to save 150-200 turns and then attack within 30 min to gain the 350000000? Naq. need to buy one. Sooner or later you'll build one anyway so it's up to you when exactly.
