This might sound stupid but I've just started, and wondered how you earn naq without miners. Or does it gain in interest or something.

I'm not usually a gamer so find it a little confusing.

Also how do you find out your over all ranking?

Your overall Ranking is on the left side. Below the control bars (where you can go on "Command Center" for example). The easiest way to gain Naq is to build some soldiers and give them weapons. Then click on "Attack" and go to page 1400-end. There are inactive users without an army, who slowly increase their Naq. If they had soldiers, they would've been on a better rank, so even if it says there, that their army size is 1100 or sth. like this, they won't harm you. Search for on with over 70Mil Naq and attck him. You should use 15 turns.

 

I would advise that you take advantage of the fact that you're still on the starting ppt. I've sent you some stuff to get you going, and you should just let the turns roll in until the natural end of the ppt.

I've got about 38000 miners and 380+ turns

but only 6000 attackers and 6000 defenders + mothership w/ 1,000,000 attack.

 

I have another question Now that I have a mothership so can I send it out to explore for 24 hours. Does it claim an unpopulated planet then or search for other users I can attack?

 

There are currently no planets left to claim - the only way you can get planets now until they introduce more is by stealing them off other players.

I only have about 20k miners at the moment as I sold a load of them for naq, but it just showed me how pointless miners are...after taking away a third of my miners, my per turn naq only went down from 5,000,000 to 4,900,000...obviously, all the rest comes from commanders.

Anyone got any tips on how to quickly earn more naq (the naq you earn every turn not by attacks) I mean I get 12 units per turn, if I turn all of them into miners so do I only get a thouand extra in naq everyturn. Anyone have any tips on how to increse that?

 

I think it's better to increase your unit production first. When you get 1000+ units per turn, You can more easily spare 100-200 and train the others.

To Spacks and CGB: I'm gonna drop down the ranks for a while (a long way down) as I'm gonna sell all my weapons to get naq for UUP and put all my units into mining.

In the short run it will inconvienince me, but in the long run I'll have a better infrastructure. It's good news for you too, as the amount of naq you get will increase alot.

 

Is there anyone else that have clicked on the link "Random Thoughts...." just above the User Info in the Command Center?

I don't since they have resets. I do play Times on Conquest though.

MoPhire, Ancient Wars doesn't have resets...I think you may be thinking of Chaos wars, which uses similar races...

Back on the SGW side, I've managed to get my UP up to over 13k/day now, so I'm happy and will be on the way back up nice and slowly, as I still will be concentrating mainly on mining to get my income up.
