Picked up Horde this morning. Very fun game, especially at the price it was at. Costs 8.99 now.

I've managed to stave off my desires for more games and have so far only picked up Borderlands and Bioshock 2.

Bought Torchlight yesterday for 800ms points on XBLA. It is now being sold for $3 on Steam. Fuck.

Not a bad little dungeon crawler, having fun with it so far.

Torchlight is probably the only game I've ever played where I would have been willing to pay a great sum more for. The game is just awesome, made by the guys who made FATE, and Diablo/Hellgate refugees.

Out of curiosity, how does one view what games they have duplicate copies of to gift?

In the Steam menu bar, open the Games dropdown menu, and then choose "Manage Gifts and Guest Passes". If you have any giftable games, then they should show up there. It also keeps a record of previous gifts that you've made and whether or not the recipients have activated them.

Just picked up Torchlight, downloading now. I'v spent about 30 euro at this stage, not too bad.

I noticed you bought Horde Oz, fancy a game later?

My recommendations for today: Mount and Blade: Warband, Alpha Protocol, Bully and Fallout: New Vegas with the expansions. Most of all, I recommend Alpha Protocol. That game got so much less love than it deserved.

To be fair, it was a buggy piece of shit that ran like a one-legged peckerhound at release. Not sayin' it ain't a great game or that it's still like that, granted.

Excellent game, but as a single player it's virtually worthless unmodded. Diplomacy at the very least should be compulsory. For near-to-native but with a fair bit more going on, Floris is reasonably good.

    Recommendation seconded all the same.

I almost picked it up, but I've already spent more than I'd intended to by this stage of the sale. The 50% Aussie price jack didn't help either. I picked up the Fire & Sword expansion for Mount & Blade, but that's it. I already own Bully and New Vegas. I'm waiting for all of the New Vegas DLC to be released before I buy them and replay it.

Normally I'd do the same thing but they are so damned cheap right now theres almost no point in it. I picked New Vegas and all the expansions up today as well as Bully and Torchlight for dirt cheap.

King Arthur, two expansions and two dlc. $4.50 USD
Awesome deal if you don't hate that sort of game.

It's a Total War clone without a morale system. Every fight is a meat grinder. Fuck that game.
