Edit: And in case they do nothing about inventory games that we already have, does the 10% price difference cap apply also?

 

Games already in inventory are fine and operate under previous rules. You can trade or gift them under the old system, however, if you gift the game, I imagine the recipient will be forced to activate the game instead of keeping it in inventory.

 

I still have around 1000 steam gifts sitting in my inventory for whatever reason. First they ruined steam with region locking but I could understand that. Then the counter strike global offensive rule of if you gift a copy to someone and they cheat you lose the ability to buy another copy and gift it. Plus that 10% cost difference now is absolute bs considering what Australians and Russians pay. In fact I can't even gift my American friend certain games now from Canada.

Now though the gifts not being stored in inventory I bought a 4 pack of a game it prompted me to give out all 3 then and there. I mean I would love to keep some to find out who will actually play with me.

 

Stellaris is on Humble for 12$ by grabbing the monthly sub. Lasts for another 22 days.

 

Humble currently has a free game - Dungeons 2.

I haven't played it (although I 'bought' it), but it's supposedly a spiritual successor to Dungeon Keeper, which was one of my favourite childhood games.

Sale's only on for another ~43 hours as of this post.

 

The Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition is 4.99 on GOG. There's a bunch of telltale sales too.
