I'm contemplating forking out the 1.99 for the newest DLC but can't quite convince myself that it is worth it especially when I just paid 6.24 for the whole thing minus that DLC during the other sale ><

 

How much fun is Magicka? How easy is it to play multiplayer?

I can highly recommend King's Bounty. It's combines a tactical RPG with adventuring as your private army stomps though the world, defeating monsters, collecting treasures, and plain old questing for glory. Similar to and reputedly better than Heroes of Might and Magic.

I haven't played the others, and I have too many games already waiting to be played, but if I was going to play some, I'd grab... well, most of them really. They all seem pretty good, which isn't always the case with a GOG sale.

UFO: Aftershock and Afterlight, Star Wolves, Fantasy Wars, and Space Rangers 2 would be my picks.

 

Protip: check your system specs before getting Magicka.
Made the mistake of buying the bundle during a sale without realizing that most stock graphics cards can't support it. :facepalm

 

Err, what? Where are you getting that information from? I play Magicka on a laptop with a Mobility graphics chip with no problems. Magicka dislikes "integrated" video, but no gamer would expect to be able to play with that anyway.

If anyone is unsure whether Magicka will work for them, this is a free play weekend on Steam. "FREE WEEKEND! Play the full game for free until Sunday at 1PM Pacific Time!"

 

Currently playing Dota 2 beta on Steam right now. They seriously need to give out more beta keys cause matchmaking takes like 10 minutes.

In my defense, I already tried the game on my 360 and didn't enjoy it. Granted, it was years ago but the fact remains... Still, in retrospect, it was stupid of me to say that and I regret not buying it.

 

Autumn Sale started today. Ton of stuff on sale.

 

Soooo I just bought...everything basically. It was pretty much everything I'd ever wanted from their store for dirt fucking cheap. Get on to Steam right now.

Dungeon Defenders is on sale. I can't bring myself to call it a good game but...I've invested way more hours than I probably should have. Take that as you like.

 

Orcs Must Die is on a daily sale right now. Can pick it up plus both DLC for just over $5. I'm grabbing it as Sanctum has gotten me interested in this type of game. Only downside is no multiplayer option.
