Rift for 7 bucks. Game was so good for me I bought the collector's edition n Father's Day, installed it, then havent had more then 2 hours of free time to play it yet, lol

 

Where do you sign up for Beta?

 

Go to Dota2 website and there was a link to sign up for beta via steam a while ago. Not sure if it is there now. They sent out surveys to people a little while ago. Also anyone who gets a beta pass directly from them also gets 2 extra keys to give out to others.

 

Is there a spare key for me ?

 

I too would love a spare key if someone would be so generous?

Very nice set of deals today, I already had most of them but I did snag the entire Grand Theft Auto series for twelve bucks. Its literally every single one of the games from GTA 1 to GTA: Episodes From Liberty City.

 

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is only £3.49 today; well worth it for such a great game, even though it's quite old.

 

And to think I bought it yesterday for $9.99. What a waste.

My Steam collection was pathetic until yesterday, It's grown by leaps and bounds, and I'm buying them faster than I can download. Hopefully I don't regret it when I can't pay rent in 6 days :fire

 

Rift is 100% off till november 28th on the standard edition on their website. It doesn't give any play time though, so you will need to start your subscription. Also, the ashes of history upgrade gives you a mount right off the bat, so you might consider buying it too.

Perhaps we should consider changing the thread title to game sales instead of limiting it to steam? I always feel like I'm doing something wrong if I post a deal from a different site here

 

For those who did not pick up Sanctum earlier it is now 75% for the next hour.

 

Only half an hour at the most left but every GTA game ever is currently 12.99 or so USD, gogo crime spree.

 

I had that happen to me when it was on sale before, in late August or early September. A five dollar difference isn't that much, but still. :facepalm

It's annoying that KotOR II still isn't on Steam. I have it on disc, so that's not an issue for me -- but if other people buy KotOR and the sequel isn't available as well, they're missing out.

I'm planning on buying Morrowind from Steam soon, since my discs are apparently too scratched. Hopefully that doesn't go on sale soon after I buy it.

 

Obviously some of you don't know how to do Steam Sales.

Every Day of the Sale: You only buy from the daily deals. The dozen or so games which are super cheap for one day only.

The Last Day of the Sale: If the game you wanted never came up on the Daily Sales, then now's your chance. Buy any of the moderately discounted games which never came up on the daily deals.

If the Game You Wanted Didn't Show, or Is Too Expensive: There's always another sale. The Summer and Winter sales are the biggest and cheapest. Just wait a couple of months.

 

I totally forgot those golden rules, yak. Bought Limbo, The Witcher and Braid when they were $5 a piece. Limbo and The Witcher are $2.50 today. Dang it.

 

Thinking about picking up Section 8 Prejudice. Anyone here know if the DLCs are worth picking up as well? Or is the original game more than enough?
