I've never heard of "hidden daily deals", but sure enough I can see the main character's picture on the poster, but no link to the game. Was there a hidden deal yesterday too?

Psychonauts is some of the best fun I've ever had in a PC game. Seriously worth it. It was updated for Mac two months ago. Don't download the demo, don't watch the trailer, just go and buy it right now. $2.49? It's a steal.

 

Eh technically, I think what he's obliquely hinting at with that is that its not one of their daily deals but as part of the package deals a shit ton of games are on sale for great prices but not being advertised directly. I'm almost entirely certain thats what the Psychonauts deal he's referring to was.

 

Picked up the Half-Life Complete pack yesterday, as I feel it's about time to play those games (and upon typing that, this comes to mind). Portal 2 was excellent, by the way.

Today we've got Arkham City for $24.99, which is... tempting.

 

It's really tempting, but I was told that they are going to release a lot of DLC for that. So I'm probably going to wait until the Summer Sale and get the Deluxe Special GOTY Ultimate Edition.

My backlog of games I have yet to play is big enough anyway.

Otherwise today is pretty meh - already got Warband and I'm waiting for my SMNC beta invite, no real point in buying the original.

I really want to buy Stalker as I know how brilliant these games are, but considering that the Developer all but closed down a week ago I'm not sure if there's actually any point to that.

Holy Fucking Shit. I bought borderlands a few weeks ago for like $30. Now it's $5. These deaks are too crazy.

That 2k complete pack with 51 games for pretty much the price of one new game is making me see red - and wish that my fucking Debit card was working.

 

Yeah I know the feeling. I've bought 34$ worth of games in the last 3 days, some for my and my son's new account, and others for the Secret Santa. Prior to that I got Zombie Smasher in Oct, Terraria in June, and then Tf2 when it launched years and years ago. Now I'm picking them up left and right.

 

Deus ES:HR and Dead Island for 10 and 13$ on Amazon and Saints Row 3 for 20$ on GreenManGaming. All of them can be activated on Steam.

No idea till when the Sales are gonna last.

 

I can heartily recommend getting Saints Row 3. The game is amazing.

 

I'd recommend it as well but I should pre-warn people that the absurdity factor of the series has gone from a hair over the top in Saints Row 2 to completely bug fuck insane. I loved it but I could easily how it could annoy the fuck out of some people.

One of the tamest missions in the game involves you fist fighting a fully grown and really pissed off Siberian Tiger to keep it from mauling you from the passenger seat where its sitting while driving around the city at over 100 miles an hour while animal rights activists chase you in their vans firing rockets at you.

Another favorite of mine is when you get sent into a virtual world to try and kill the leader of the technology focused gang that kinda spoofs Tron. Its pretty hilarious since the chick whos helping you with it keeps fucking with your avatar and you spend a fair amount of time as a walking talking toilet with a laser cannon attachment. When you finally track the leader down he turns into this huge demon monster thing and you have to wear him down a bit before finally your friend is able to steal the code he used to transform and then you get to use it to go demon and just butcher waves of bad guys in hilarious ways. On a semi related note two of the hidden vehicles you can unlock from quests involving this game are a virtual tank and a Tron motorcycle.
