Like every other damn Steam sale, don't buy anything unless it's a daily deal (or maybe part of a flash sale). Wait until the last day of the sale - in this case, the 28th of November.

Seriously. I thought you guys would know this by now.

Not true. They had nonstop repeats in Winter sale, and they're halfassing it by copying its set up again. They didnt have a ton of variety, they just kept doing repeats in the flash sales, and some of the flash sales on games that were daily sales, were better then the daily sale price.

Yeah, the gmg rep said on reddit that the 25% code will apply, so it looks like gmg has the cheapest price for Dishonored at $22.50. I'm definitely going to pick it up.

The Witcher 2 is on for £9.99.

If you seriously still don't own this fucking game, buy it, and thank me later.

I hate steam sales. So goddamn tempting!

I've got fallout 3 at like 5 bucks, dead island at a similar price and XCOM for hm.. 25$~
Im already conflicted and now this Max Payne 3 offer?
    MUST. NOT. BUY. ANYMORE!

I heard great things about it. But since I never touched the first game I suppose its kinda pointless, right?

Nah. You can play it without the first game. You'll be missing out on background information, but the actual story of the game has little to do with the story of the previous game. For the things you miss, there's a Codex that should give you the cliff notes version.

And if you play the first game you'll be missing out anyway, since both games rely on information given in a book series that hasn't even been fully translated into English yet.

Civ 5: Gods and Kings is $7.50 (75% off) on Amazon, with an additional $25 in bonuses. You get $5 off one of the editors choice games in January. Unfortunately you cannot stack these coupons though. You also get a free $10 runescape package and a free $10 stronghold kingdoms package.

The sale is only for the mac version, but the distinction is meaningless. Civ 5 is steamplay so you get both the mac and pc versions. I have a pc and I was able to use the code for the mac version.

I keep vacillating between, "I can wait until it's on sale with all the DLC included, just like I got Borderlands." and, "I NEED IT NOOOOWWWW!"

I'd buy the main game now and wait for DLC later. And besides, even if you buy the season pass now, it'll just be the cost of the regular game.

Lots of cosmetic ones (portrait packs, background songs, etc) and a few interesting ones:
Ruler Designer: enables you make your ruler/dynasty
Sword of Islam: makes islamic rulers playable
Legacy of Rome: byzantine empire centric that lets you do cool stuff like mending the great schism and reforming the roman empire

    And not so interesting:
Sunset Invasion: fantasy scenario in which the aztecs invade the europe (somewhere around 12th century irrc)

    /edit
I misunderstood the question. It seems you where asking about the DLC included in the bundle you where linking? If so, yea. Just cosmetic (the ruler designer being the exception.. And theres other games thrown in there too)

    Seriously... Steam, I've gotta ask:

I'm gonna go weep in a corner because I need a non-work related laptop to play games on but I'd rather go to meet-ups and shoot guns instead. :(

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is on for 15 bucks if you haven't checked yet.

Dishonored's sale is ending in a few hours, as well. It's going for 50% off, so if you're intending to grab it, now's the time.
