Good luck getting through though. GG is getting slammed, takes hours to get through and even logging in is a pain in the ass.

It was supposed to be 70% off, which would be around $90 or so. Instead, they applied the 70% off twice, which made it $28.

XCOM is on sale on GetGamesGo for $24.99 - 50% off. It's a better deal than the current flash sale.

So Amazon is selling Dark Souls keys for $14.99 (link here). Should I pick it up now, or is it possible that Steam will have it even cheaper than that soon if I wait?

BF3 Premium for $30 at Target, this includes the base game. http://i.imgur.com/NdpiM.jpg You might want to call your local store to see if it is still in stock.

Edit: Amazon is having the same deal starting on the 26th.

I wound up getting Dark Souls for $15 on Amazon rather than wait. Even if it does go lower on Steam at some point, it'd likely only be a difference of about $5. No great loss. If you want it from Amazon too I think it'll remain at that price for the rest of the day, and then go up to $20 or so until some point early in January.

Also got the Skyrim DLC I wanted, as I figured 50% off for a relatively new and still expensive game like Skyrim was about as low as it would go. And, you know, I can be impatient. And if it does go to 66% or 75% off later in the sale, well, at this point it's a difference of just a few dollars. For the main game it'd be different, but I've already had that.

Spec Ops: The Line and both Knights of the Old Republic games are on the Flash Sale list now. The KotOR games are $5 for both, and they're very much worth it if you like Star Wars (or maybe even if you don't) and haven't played them yet.

As for Spec Ops, I put my thoughts down previously here. It's about $10 now. I had paid $15 and don't have buyer's remorse over it, but whether you think it's a good deal is up to you.

Instead of the flash sale you can also get it as a part of this pack, along with Bioshocks 1 & 2, for $10. And if you have one of the coupons its even better.

If you're thinking about grabbing Spec Ops: The Line, go grab it on Amazon over purchasing it directly on Steam. Amazon has it on sale for $10 as part of a package with Bioshock and Bioshock 2, as well as having the $5 2K Games promo apply towards it as well, if you purchased a 2K game at any point this year. All three activate via steam.

    Soooooooooo THQ Bundle for $24.99

    http://store.steampowered.com/sub/18778/?snr=1_4_4__808

Honestly I think its just about everything, and I mean everything. All of the Company of Heroes games, both Darksiders, all three saints row games, Dawn of War 2 +DLC, Space Marine, Homefront, Nexuiz, Red faction (though not guerrilla).

200$ original price, $25 in a bundle. I do believe Steam effed up again but I certainly aim to enjoy it!
