Eugh, fuck the steam sales. Went to buy lunch today and my card was declined. 'Shit man, I know I should have enough for this sandwich.

Get back to the office, check my account and motherfucker I bought Deadlight. No idea what it is but it looks awesome.

That was up for less than a minute though. It was fixed incredibly quickly. Valve will definitely let them keep it though, they let tons of people keep BNW when there was a price error a month or so ago with the preorder being only $2.

Flatout Ultimate Carnage is on sale, 75% off. Pretty fun racing game (arcade and DESTRUCTION!).

Because it lasted less than 30 minutes.

Price right now isn't that bad if you really want it now, ~$16ish if you know where to look.

You should have asked around. I'm pretty sure a few people still had the old THQ Weekly Sale laying around, which had DS2 a hell of a lot cheaper than Steam. BTA for that was what, $3?

Probably Steam's main advantage, people only buy through Steam instead of other retailers <_<

So, I finally have the full, legal Crusader Kings 2 game with the Old Gods included.
Not that I have ever played a cracked version - I wouldn't even know where to get it, of course. ;D I even heard that the saves are perfectly compatible.

Still probably the best game I have ever played.

    Just as a heads up:

Risen 2, Saints Row 2, Saints Row 3, and Sacred 2 Gold are all one Steam key.

Saints Row 3 DLC and Dead Island GOTY are another joint Steam key.

I only wanted Risen 2 and I already have/don't care for the other three games in that key, so I paid $1 for that.

I bought it a second time above the average to pick up the bonus games too. They make excellent Secret Santa games if nothing else.

Steamgifts.com is the bomb. Not as a way to score free games from genpop, but as a way to manage the next Secret Santa for DLP.

If any of you folks haven't reg'd on SG yet, now's the time to do it. It's fairly simple - it uses your Steam login to authenticate in the same way that some sites use your Facebook or Google login. It's perfectly safe. SG never sees your login details; only Steam does.

If you reg now, then it's one less hassle later in the year when everyone's trying to get their Secret Santa shit together.

SG allows you to restrict giveaways to a specific Steam Group [eg. DLP]. It stops you from entering giveaways for games you already own. If you hate adventure games [you were born wrong], then you simply don't enter those giveaways and the adventure games go to people who'll enjoy them [everyone except for you and Helen Keller] a heck of a lot more.

    http://www.steamgifts.com/

Then you can enter DLP's Bioshock 1&2 giveaway.

Steamgifts is indeed very awesome. It's nice to have a good way to give away games you don't want/already have.

Mmm, I've won ten games in the six months I've been on there. Although, two were Developer giveaways of 25,000 copies and 2,000 copies. Around 30,000 and 20,000 entrants, respectively.

Had an extra copy of Magicka, put it up on the DLP group for steamgifts to see how the site works.

    http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/aYysq/magicka

And someone who is more familiar with the site, say Fenraellis or Yak, mind hitting me up so I can ask a few stupid questions about navigating this site?
