Stories centered around characters other than Harry

    I really like Harry as a character, but HP has several interesting characters, and I would like to read stories that centre around someone other than Harry. Good characterization of the Main character is a requirement and bonus points if it has either Dumbledore, Voldemort, Ron or Ginny as the protagonist.

    Some stories I've read and mostly liked:
    1. The Changeling (Ginny centric)
    2. A Call to Arms (Ginny/McGonagall centric)
    3. The Two Body Problem (Hermione centric)
    4. Just a Random Tuesday (McGonagall centric)
    5. Shatterpoint (Dumbledore centric)
    6. Applied Cultural Anthropology (Hermione centric)
    7. Hogwarts Houses Divided (Next Gen)
    8. Clash (Rose/Albus centric)
    9. Alexandra Quick (OC centric)

    I don't recommend it really but stories by Redfrog tend to be Hermione centric. They also all tend to be 150k+.

    Fernwithy has several decently written stories. Her LJ site is here, IIRC it hosts more than ffnet. You might also read some of it on SQ.

    Shifts and its sequel, Shades, feature Remus Lupin and take place during canon. I enjoyed them when I was first reading them years and years ago, and they've probably held up decently.

    She's also written several stories from Teddy's POV, which would be next-gen.

    Could you link shatterpoint? Thought it would be interesting to read a Dumbledore centric story but couldn't find it when I googled it.
