There's another story where Diary was among Luna's things but she was enraged by Tom's suggestions and gave the diary to Harry. Lucius Malfoy was throughoutly beaten up by two 'nameless strangers' (one of them was Xeno Lovegood) for the trick with diary.

I'm looking for a specific AU story. It begins, IIRC, with Harry falling asleep somewhere outside and waking up several years younger in an AU world. Here, he's chubby, his parents are alive and Sirius is even married with a daughter.

Lily and James aren't getting along. One day Harry even walks in on Lily and Narcissa dry humping in the kitchen. Summer passes with Harry figuring things out. He keeps having dreams where he sees himself on the train with different girls draped all over him. One time it's either Tracy Davis or Daphne Greengrass (can't remember), another it was Luna. I think it ended somewhere on the train ride. It was abandoned, as I recall. It's been a few years, can't remember exactly. And I think there was something about a basilisk patronus.

Anyone know this? The title may have been a variation of "second life" or "second chance at life", but I'm not sure.

First one I'm searching for is a fic I read years ago. All I remember was that it had a Mentor!Dumbles and its last chapter featured Harry inheriting Fawkes. After this he goes out to abduct the Greengrass family during their sleep with Fawkes' help and "convinces" them which side to take in the coming war, since he is now in possession of the god-mode teleport and all.

The second one is just something I just thought of: I haven't read many fics where the whole Voldemort story still plays out in some manner where Tom Riddle in fact still exists inside wizarding society. The only two fics that would remotely come to mind right now would be 'The Other Side of the Coin' by Zennith6 and, loosely, HPMoR, which only fits the criteria loosely, what with the mystery built up around Quirrel's true face.

Holy fuck, that story is awful. So not only is she having an affair with Narcissa Malfoy, she had one with Sirius too. Why isn't she being flayed alive? I find this a huge flaw.

 

I highly recommend Professor Riddle and the Quest for Tenure, though it's abandoned.

 

Are you high? Yeah, the story is pretty bad, but that definitely never happened.

 

Right, my bad. I misinterpreted a sentence.

I get that some folks like to make James and Lily feel human, with flaws, but it's just something I find highly distasteful with the way most usually go about it.

Also, does anyone know a good fic that's set in Greece, specifically on Mount Olympus? The kind of story I'm shooting for should be obvious, something that explores the Greek Gods = Powerful Wizards scenario.

 

I'm looking for a fic, where Hermione doing magic before Hogwarts gets her thrown out from Wizarding World (or rather, she's not permitted to enter). She goes on to became some sort of aide to PM (or PM?) and tries to open war with Wizards. It's just a one shot with some sort of great dialogue, where Hermione says her piece all high and mighty… and Harry shots her down, verbally.

I'm looking for some cathartic Harry kills snape fics. A particular scene I remember was after Snape is bitten by nagini Harry finds him and sits there watching him die. They talk, but Harry isn't forgiving. Think he even used the phrase "This is your punishment for killing Lily."

 

Still looking for this story, and I'm absolutely sure it's not that awful fic by James Spookie, since I read it way before he wrote his thing.
