Literally anything with the White Fang in it (Naruto) ?
preferably good stuff but at this point i'm desperate enough to read anything

 

I stumbled across this one fic long ago where WF went rogue instead of committing suicide, following orders by the Hokage to basically pull an Itachi and go undercover. I can't remember the name of it for the life of me, but I think it was abandoned.

 

HP/Naruto crossover.
Harry is raised by Maito Gai and Rock Lee.
Tenten is desperate to make him wear something that isn't green.
When he learns that he can't get a haircut like 'father' and 'brother', Harry decides to have a haircut like Kakashi.

 

Looking for a short story, probably a one-shot, in which Harry basically has a boring ministry job pushing paper all day. He doesn't really mind that he's looked down upon - but at some point someone pushes him just a bit to far, which leads to Harry subtly and dangerously reminding them that, yes, he elected to do a boring desk job, but he's still the one who took down Voldemort.

 

I think I remember that one. He was Head of the post office and it was something to do with Daphne Greengrass, right? I don't remember the title, though, sorry.

 

I don't know it, but it sounds like an enjoyable read kind of thing.

Since I'm here, I once read a fic where Gred and Forge were in the Triwizard along with Harry. I think it was unfinished and not very good, but it stuck with me for some reason and I never saw it again, so if it rings any bells, please point me in the right direction.

 

The only fic I know with the twins as champions is Oh God Not Again! but it's finished.

The story when 'power he knows not' is Harry's ability to wield family magics.
Sirius Black gathers the women from Black house to renew Lily's blood protection. In the middle of the ritual they see the spirit of Lily (represenging Potter family magic) and Morgana le Fay (representing Black family magic).

I’m looking for a Harry Potter story which I think is a one shot. He goes to Crete on vacation after his 3rd year. He is under aging potion or charm to appear an older version of himself. He has relations with a local girl who is a nymph and Narcissa. After he returns to school he is scolded by usual suspects but he feels that everything is ok as older girls have an eye on him. I tried to look for this my google skills were not good enough.

 

I have been searching for a story that I had started to read but put it down and I was never able to find it again. The premise is Harry was sent to Azkaban, I believe before the return of Voldemort, He is able to control/scare/kill the Dementors. He befriends Bellatrix, and he is able to come and go in the cells of Azkaban and I believe he kills Redulophus Lestrange for Bellatrix. I do not think that Bellatrix is the primary relationship.

Sadly abandoned, but what's there is great and occasionally hilarious. What if Larry David was a hormonal, orphaned wizard basically.

 

I'm looking for a relatively old story. I remember that it has a generic Indy!Harry start where Harry gets to Potter manor and immediately discovers his dead mother is alive and he has a sister; the meeting starts out as a fight with each accusing the other of being death eaters. Later on Harry became a Phoenix animagus (of course!) and he and his DA pals received auror training in the forbidden forest as a sort of combat drill. I think it may have been H/G.

Wasn't it the story when Vernon uses love potion brewed by Harry on his secretary?

 

Maybe, I remember he only narrowly dodged a statute of secrecy violation.

 

I'm not sure if it's the one you want, but Harry is treated cordially, if a bit distantly, by his family in The Tinkerer. It's a hufflepuff!Harry and Hermione story.

 

Haha, no.

Basically Harry has an inquisitive, logical, creative mind. He starts with taking apart toys and fixing them and proceeds to computer programming. When he starts at Hogwarts he adapts this approach to magic - for example, he creates a program in his head to brew potions, which he constantly finetunes when learning about new ingredients.

It's a bit (or a lot) ridiculous but fun.

However what sold the story for me was not the tinkering stuff, but characterization and the portrayal of the Hufflepuff house. Everyone's character feels nuanced, far beyond the usual fanfic fare of "this character is good" and "this character is an antagonist". Harry, as a protagonist, feels very fresh, just by virtue of losing the automatic lawful good alignment. His upbringing being what it was, he's a lot more cautious and careful with people.

Hufflepuff, on the other hand, is well structured. A rich history is hinted at, there's a secret society that Harry eventually is inducted into, and it feels like a vibrant, thriving organisation.

Unfortunately the story is painfully slow. 200k words cover the pre-Hogwarts years and up to maybe half of first year...
