Between that and the typrewriting monkey theory, a story with that *shudders* in it probably does exsist. *prays she never finds it*

Oh, ERG...Thanks for the really unecessary mental image. Mirror of Maybe is the one of the few and only good slashes, it has PLOT! All pairings (other than H/G) are fine, but stories really need plot to be good. A non-romance centered plot.

Agreed, the plot has to be good for a story to be good, regardless of the pairing.

But I would take H/G over HP/DM/SS/RW/AD/FW/GW any day.

Depending on my mood, I would go H/D, but I don't mind *cough* slash. If I was feeling kinda wonky, I would go H/G

    I voted slash.

Yeah, very out of place on this site which is for the most part anti-slash (at least to an extent). I am a slash fan, although I also read het ( I like HP/NT & HP/BL). I think that it's just as hard to find a good het fic as it is to find a good slash one. There are a bunch of 13 year old girls writing slash fics out there, but there are a bunch writing het ones too. Really, it's just plain hard to find a good romance fic (you know, one with a thing called a plot)

I used to read some slash fics when I first started out reading HP fan fiction, but just like with the Ginny pairing (which I used to tolerate), now if something is slash I am almost guaranteed to not read it or stop reading it as soon as it comes into the story. I don't really know why this is.

I really despise slash. All i find is slash in HP fanfiction.
The slash pairing in almost all of them i think is HP/SS.
    Then there's HP/Voldie...
oh, and have i mentioned that i hate slash?
    Anyway, byebye
    Sincerely,
    The Saiyan Mage

Well actually, the most popular pairing is H/D.

I have no problem with slash. But so far my Harry Potter Fanfic time line has gone like this:

    Starts reading
    |
    |
    H/G phase
    |
    |
    Exits H/G phase
    |
    |
    Enters Slash Phase
    |
    |
    (now)Exiting Slash Phase
    Entering Fem*Blaise phase

As you can see I am like a rollercoaster. Actually that is true for a lot of things. I think I am just curious and want to try everything. :?

I had an H/G phase too! And a slash one. But I have not exited the slash phase. Only the H/G.

I had a HarryHerm phase, LilyJames phase, GinnyDraco (that one was REALLY long, like 1 1/2 yrs) phase, and now I'm in a slash/Femmeslash/HarryFem!Slyth/HarryTonks/Luna phase, but I have hated H/G right from the beginning :D

Sorry, but I don't think it's gonna happen. At least not any time soon, anyway.

Same here. My H/G phase was really short, and I typically read Harry centered romances. I could never stand H/Hr, unless it had a really, really good plot.

For me, Het, unless we are talking FemSlash w/ plot here. I'm all for that. Like any normal male that I know.

That's why it's unfair to insult slash fics outright. Crappy slash fics though...

You're all crazy. You can never have too much slash  . I'm telling you this because I only speak the truth, penises were meant to be lubed and driven in the anus.

Yeah, it is fanfiction. That basically means that it's all AU anyways so there can be lube if someone wants there to be lube.
