Update on Season 4 and the show as a whole

 

That's good news tbh. Stranger Things is not a show I would really want them to drag out indefinitely beyond its natural lifespan. The actors for the gang of kids will all realistically be college-aged, so it's a good period to have a farewell.

 

Part 1 of the new season has been out for a bit.

I didn't think the Steve/Dustin bromance could get better. But it did.

 

My gut reaction is that this is the strongest season since the first (pending the final episodes, anyway). Took me a while to get round to watching it, but once I did I couldn't stop watching.

 

Yeah I'm in the same boat as Savage. Seasons 2 & 3 kinda felt really weak at points, but this one was consistently strong and regained the magic of Season 1 a good bit. Still, think season 1 is incredibly difficult to top though.

 

Very solid end to a really good season, although now it's wrapped up, they clearly didn't have much idea what to do with some of the cast. Hopefully that will change for the final season.
