What an excellent game to pick up. I'd say the game is well worth the hype.

The gameplay mechanics are recognizable to anyone who's tried any game in the Street Fighter series. Easy to pick up, difficult to Master. You have the Focus attack, EX cancels, EX special moves. They add to the depth of the game.

The most recognizable characters are back.Ryu, Ken, Chun-li, Guile, almost everyone from SF2 is in the game.

I've put in a few hours into the game already, mostly spending my time in versus mode against my friends. Haven't tried the challenge mode yet. Played online. Evidence here.

Anyone going to pick this up for the PS3? We could get a DLP tourny up and post the results.

I kick your ass and make you cry mama when I finally get around to actually hooking up my ps3 to the internet.

Very sweet game though playing it with a controller is annoying so I'm hoping to get a good old fashioned joystick and buttons at my Best Buy next time I'm in town.

    Great game I give it a 6/5

    Graphics +1
    Action +1
    fighting +1
    Music +1
    difficulty +1

    Chun-Li fanboy bonus +1

You're a fucking hustler and you know it. "I suck so much, go easy on me."

Wait a few days, then we'll have another session. This time my left thumb won't be so blistery and I will finally do some Hadokens. :p

But yes, awesome game. Very addicting.

Street Fighter XXX is the one about me because my record is 30-0 in street fights and cage matches (mostly street fights)

I love the Street Fighter series...especially for the SNES but this one is probably awesome as well.

Can you work the motion sensors in the controllers into the game play at all? I always like to see that utilized and it's rarely used that well.

No motion sensor at all. I don't know why you would have it. The motion sensing would end up to be a gimmick.

Havoc: How the fuck do you get Gouken? The first time I tried, I used Ryu. I got at least 2 perfects and at least 3 ultra finishes. At the end, for some retarded reason, I fought against Akuma after Seth. Thing is, I unlocked Akuma last night. Why the fuck did I fight him again? So then I tried with Akuma. Got a few perfects and a few ultra finishes. At the end? Nothing at all. Fukken bullshit.

Who here has fought Seth in the arcade with C. Viper?

Me and my friend spent three hours on that douche untill he finally got lucky and killed the bastard. Hardest, cheapest boss I've ever fought, but it was only with C. Viper, using the other characters was not nearly as bad.
