Stuntman injured on set of Harry Potter movie
    Jan. 29, 2009, 2:19 PM EST
LONDON (AP) -- British officials are investigating an accident on the set of the latest Harry Potter film that left a stunt man seriously injured.
Studio Warner Bros. says a man was hurt at Leavesden Studios near London, where "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" is in preproduction.
The ambulance service says a man in his 20s suffered a significant back injury in the accident Wednesday. His name was not released but British media reported he was stunt double for Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the boy wizard in the hit films.
The Health and Safety Executive said Thursday it was investigating the workplace accident.

I wasn't aware they were already filming the last two movies...

My guess is that the woman who plays Molly fell on him and broke his back. That or he got kicked by a horse - I mean Ginny...

$100 says it was the kissing scene.

Ha, nice Blaise that had me tickled pink...

I love it how they have to have a full scale investigation into a workplace accident of a stuntman. Isn't it their job? I mean if everything was completely safe, you Radcliffe would be able to do the stunts.

    ...You're a sick, sick man.

It's obvious that this scene will be filmed on a green background and edited later... right?

Radcliffe clearly needs a stunt double when it comes to kissing the actress playing Ginny.

I'm sure the double had to wear protective goggles. Looking directly at her could cause serious eye damage.

Honestly, she's just an actress. So is the woman who portrays Molly Weasley. However vivid it looks on screen, it's only a movie.

Is it that hard to distinguish between fictitious construction and reality?

No, she looks like a horse. Go look at pics of her.

If she actually looked ok, I wouldn't have a problem, I had the same thoughts as you. But yeah...

No one said anything that hinted at being unable to distinguish fact from fiction, vagina-face. This is real life, a stuntperson really got hurt, and I really think all amorous scenes with Bonnie Wright are more dangerous than sticking one's dick in a shredder.

Bonnie Wright must be quite the witch then, if she can make people's spines crack by kissing them.

I think Sophie's saying that it's Hollywood movie magic that makes Bonnie Wright look the way she does, that no girl could actually be that ugly.

    I support that message.

Also, I'm pretty sure if one kissed Bonnie Wright, then having one's spine object so vehemently that it shatters is a reasonable consequence to expect.

No, it's Hollywood movie magic that makes Bonnie Wright look as good as she does. Now isn't that a fucking frightening thought?

    Ha.

I bet the talent recruiters are kicking themselves for not foreseeing her growth into an abomination.

She didn't look terrible in the first two or three movies, but there was no way to predict her turning into that.

Let me clear one thing up before this devolves any further and I feel responsible. I don't think Bonnie Wright is hot or even attractive, really, but I don't think she's butt-ugly, either. My original post was simply making a joke at her expense, with the prevailing attitude on DLP about her. Carry on, of course, but I did want to make clear that I don't hate her, even if I don't agree that Harry supposedly ends up with her at the end of canon.

Personally, I think the chick they got to play Tonks is the hottest one in any of the movies. Not that that's saying a whole lot, as only she and Emma Watson are really attractive. The chick who played Fleur doesn't really do it for me.

I actually prefer Bonny Wright over whoever played Tonks.

Better a horse than a pig.

Man, sucks for the stunt person. But hey, it's in the job discription.

Uhm, are you sure about that?
I think the last person who made the same assumption died

Are you disrespecting Evanna Lynch? Personally, I think Tonks wasn't done justice by the actress who plays her or by the special effects/makeup people.
