I've seen the first two episodes of season 2, still good so far.

The drama with Rachel might get annoying real soon though.

Given what happen in S2E2, I'm hoping the office politics will overshadow it for some time. Also, I've heard that the second season might focus more on Harvey's personal life than on Mike's.

Gonna wait and see how it goes.

For all of Harvey's dickish qualities, I think Mike is probably worse. He seems to forget that he actually has no right whatsoever to his job, that he only got it in the first place because of Harvey, and he's only allowed to keep it because of Harvey.

If having more ability than the majority of others in the office combined is not enough to give him a right to the job, I don't know what is. However, I do agree that he seems to forget the role Harvey played in his getting the job.

I follow it. Really liking it, although the drama they created with Hardman coming back is refreshing. The drama between Mike and Rachael, on the other hand, is not.

This only happens occasionally, and someone is always there to remind him of it. Now that Jessica knows, he's practically walking on glass at the firm. At the same time, Harvey's let it be known that Mike and he are a package deal, in what might be the first time Harvey Spectre has ever shown some sort of emotional attachment to anyone.

Also, am I the only one who thinks Donna still has feelings for Harvey? If that's who she was talking about, anyway. That's how interpreted the conversation.

You don't? It's quite simple: formal education. If that comes out, the firm will lose far more than they could gain by employing him.

And that's why it's one of the main plots for this season. Jessica knows that Mike never went to Harvard, but she is one of four people that know. Her, Harvey, Donna, and Mike. If Hardman finds out, he's going to string her and Harvey up, which is why she wanted to fire Mike on the spot when she found out.

Then Harvey was like "lolno, package deal", so now Jessica is backed into a corner because Harvey is easily the best lawyer at the firm. She doesn't want to lose Harvey and have him go to a competitor, but at the same time she wants to stay in charge of the firm.

And Hardman is... I have no fucking idea what Hardman is doing. The guy says he's on the straight and narrow, and then he's almost blatantly buying people into his pocket (Giving Louis the dicta-phone). Fuck, man, Hardman is either a pretty decent villain or just a decent guy. I'm hoping for the former because I haven't seen one of those in a long-ass time.

Maybe I got the wrong impression, but I thought the dicta-phone given to Louis was from some kind of headhunter from another firm.

The phone was definitely from Hardman.

Hardman is definitely buying people into his pocket. He got the associates breakfast and took them out to dinner, he brought off Louis with the Dictaphone, and probably has even more than that up his sleeves.

The card said, and I'm paraphrasing here, but this is the gist.

I'm not sure if it was unsigned or not, because it was a one-second close-up and Louis' thumb was on the card as well.

Furthermore, another tell is that he put the business card from the other firm under his ink-blotter. Like, he slid it under there, where it would be weighed down by his laptop, in an out-of-sight, out-of-mind move.

Yeah, that's definitely the case. I don't know how I got the wrong impression, I'm an idiot.

Anyway, episode 4 was really fantastic. Louis is being shown as a much more sympathetic character this season, and it's very believable. I think I might actually like him more than anyone else.

So, I just watched Suits from start to finish over the last 2 weeks. I gotta say, it was average at best in Season 1. I found it to be decent enough to waste a few hours, but nothing more.

I honestly thought that Season 2 was just going to go downhill when they introduced Hardman as a character. However, it's surpassed my expectations and actually become a really compelling show.

The end of this weeks episodes was actually really compelling. And incredibly well done. I'm also glad that the Rachel/Mike drama is dying down.

Yeah. Season 2 is infinitely better than season 1 so far. I think it helps that these first few eps have been more about Harvey and the ensemble characters rather than Mike.

To put it quite frank, Mike is a cocky, unlikable douchenozzle.

I wouldn't go that far. In fact, I'd say that all the characters in this show are pretty unlikeable. But I also think that's intended, and works out quite well in this case.

They had to get the drama going somehow.

I actually really liked Louis in this episode. Mike seems to have impressed both Hartman and Louis again, although I'm wondering if Hartman stayed there researching with Mike just to try and get in his good graces.

Harvey's started becoming annoying. They need to revive his character a bit.
