Man, all this blackmail would make me fucking confused if I were in the midst of it.

I'm kind of conflicted, because I actually liked the idea of Louis and Mike working together and Harvey going solo for a little while, especially with how much of a dick Harvey has been.

And also Jerry Maguire references are the surest way to my heart.

Part of what I love about this show is that I can empathize with most of the characters. Their actions make sense given what we know about them--what they do is consistent with what they want and what they believe. Even when I don't agree with their reasoning, I get where they're coming from. I haven't had any problem with the way Harvey's acted over the last few episodes. That said, I do really like Lewis as a character, and I wouldn't have minded seeing a few episodes with Mike on Team Litt.

This is fucked up. Louis has quickly become one of my favorite characters on this show and though I was getting sick of the new Harvey vs Mike dynamic, Louis deserves better. Totally fucked up and yet again Mike proves why he's a bratty bitch.

And they wonder why Louis is a dick.

"I can't go back on my word... unless you say something stupid, then I'll betray Louis. no problem."

That was the saddest ending of any episode ever [besides the dog waiting for Fry].

Considering Mike could have used "Ya just got Litt up!" as a catchphrase, I am severely disappoint.

The finale was pretty awesome. Louis getting the major hint the way that he did was well done, rather than him just looking to see out of pettiness, especially with asking Mike if he was in the same year as that guy earlier in the episode pretty much has all the hints to put it together, the only thing he has to figure out now is who else is in on it.

The longer I watch this show more I realize everybody in it is like two steps away from being a sociopath. Just constant lying, deceit and manipulation. Sure you've got the people you cheer for to win but Christ, they're all the same basically.

That being said I have liked the shift from Mike's story to more of a Harvey-centric deal. They've unpackaged that mad man nicely. Louis, after taking that uber low blow early in the season, rebounded well as comic relief and hopefully that annoying dick swinging contest between him and Harvey has been zipped up by that little tag-team a few episodes back.

I find Louis finding out a little annoying, especially since that makes Sheila just a vehicle for the discovery instead of a real character :/

Assuming she didn't already know and 'invited' Louis there knowing it'd be like putting cake in front of a fat kid.

Dunno why she wouldn't just blow the secret herself, but that'd be cool. Would make her infinitely more interesting.

She seems the type to just report it herself though, rather than go through someone else.

The new season starts in 20 minutes, and I'm excited to see it back.

How long do you think Investment Banker!Mike will last?

I think it'll last this whole summer, then switch back to being lawyer Mike for the latter half of the season, during winter.

I hope it doesn't, I was kind of over the 'will he be caught' drama. I just want to see Mike and Harvey kick ass.

It... wasn't the best first episode. I was expecting more, honestly, but it started off in a pessimistic tone and ended in MAYBE a slightly better tone.

I thought Mike was acting a bit like a punk during their first meeting in Harvey's office. I mean, yeah, I don't want him to be subservient and he is the client so what he says should hold more weight, but basically telling Harvey "my way or the highway" is a bit much. He could have done it a bit more diplomatically.

I do like the Harvey vs Mike tension that's building up though, it'd be awesome if they keep it a friendly rivalry without Mike being all cuntish towards Harvey and riling him up.

But yeah, it looks like this investment banker thing isn't a one or two episode thing, this thing looks like it's ramping up to be the overarching plot of the season.

Just saw the season 4 premiere.

In tags just to be safe: I have to say, I like the brewing conflict between Harvey and Mike. We know they're killer as a team, it'll be interesting to see them go up against each other. The scene with Jessica and Harvey in his apartment was awesome.

Am I the only one who wants more Jonathan Sidwell? He came out swinging like a badass in season 3, I'd like more of that.

So, the reveal about the new guy being the married man Rachel had an affair with in the past feels like artificial conflict to me. They never once dropped a hint as to it being him - they just left it open. If they'd mentioned that he was a trust-fund kid and attending business school I'd have probably swallowed it, but this was a complete blindside, at least to me.

redshell, I hope they don't pull a Revenge!wife trying to seduce Mike. The small subplot with Tess worked because they told us Mike had known her previously (although she too kind of came out of nowhere) but this would indeed suck.
